Upon checking in the lobby and staff seemed very nice and professional. That was the end of the luxury, walking down the hall towards the rooms the entire build seemed very outdated. There were horrible stains all along the floors the wallpaper is peeling everywhere, there were broken & missing light fixtures. Overall horrible first impression, checking into our room we first check to make sure the beds were safe to sleep in. Upon doing so we found sign of bed bug droppings on both the mattresses, box springs and "new lien" there was no cover on the box spring or mattresses to protect from bed bugs either. Immediately went to the front and request a room change, the staff did handel this professionaly and moved us to the top floor which is arguably the cleanest floor. Still simmilar signs of broken or missing things in the halls and new room. Some stains and peeling wallpaper, new rooms beds were clean but no preventive measure to protect against bed bugs? Missing art or mirros that were clearly meant to be in the room. Exposed nails coming out of the floor for the closet floor trim, weak water presure, no screen on window allowing anyone to jump, entry door had trouble latching you really had to slam it. The new room was quite a bit cleaner, pleanty of hot water, cold AC. Outside of the room there were only 2 entry point to get to the rooms the front lobby entrance or right behind the front lobby there was a fire escape staircase with a key card pad. Otherwise no entry.

The property is and apparently has been renovating for a long time. The hallway rugs were dirty or parts were missing at places. Our room was at the very end of a long hallway and upon entering was very dim and with a very bad musky odor and just dirty feeling. The bathroom very dim as well and the mirror had black spots from aging all the way across from one end to the other. The desk was all scratched up. We tried to get another room and was told they were all booked. We never opened our bags and checked out the same night. We ended up next door at the Holiday Inn Express Fullerton. It was night and day! The pictures on Expedia were nice when we booked and never mentioned renovating that I could see. The manager at Howard Johnson told me even though they were renovating he would never advertise bad pictures of the hotel because people wouldn't come. I will never go back again. Thank you Holiday Inn Express and Expedia needs to put more accurate pictures on their site!

Very dissappointed!

The hotel and our room had a really bad odor. With the window closed, you could still hear the freeway traffic. It sounded like we were sleeping under a roller coaster. The ad stated that there was a mini fridge, we had none. We asked the front desk and they told us that housekeepping handles that and that they went home at 5:00pm so no fridge.. The phone in our room had a piece of white paper glued to it with the holes cut out for the numbers. There was nothing to identify what the keys were, like front desk, houskeeping, Etc. By 10:00pm the front desk was dark, no one around. Felt very unsafe! Walking down the hall to our room there were shirtless men sitting around on the floor.

The hotel overall is not too bad, the only thing was that the bathroom needed some maintenance/ updates. There was a stain in and near the bathtub that made it look like it was dirty. Everything else was fine, not too far from Disneyland and the staff was nice.

This property deceives its guests on the conditions of this “hotel”! I understand this hotel is older but this place looks like a safety hazard! The paint, the floors, the carpet… all horrible! Our AC unit stopped working after our first night…. So we had to move… so they moved us too a room ALREADY occupied by another guest! So then they moved us to another room but we went from a queen bed to 2 standard beds! Kids up at 6:30am are allowed to run and jump next to our room for an hour! Internet was horrible! Parking lot AND spaces are so small! We will never stay here again and hopefully this review will keep you away from this nightmare! On one night the cops were at the property which wasn’t surprising. This hotel is cheap for a reason! If you’re considering this hotel please do your research or possibly visit this dumpster fire before you book! On the positive note: they do offer a shuttle to Disneyland BUT the shuttle DOESN'T run after the park closes so each night we had to Uber back! 👎 This hotel isn’t worthy of any star ⭐️ ratings because you can’t go lower than 1 star!

The room they gave me was really bad dirty smelly molded and having a month old baby that’s just dangerous I just forgot to take pictures of the sink but everything else I did

I won't recommend this hotel for anyone due to the following 1. No wifi in suite room 2. No exhaust fan in the toilets, leaves foul smell for longer time in the entire room. 3. Door handle and door were too hard to open, i had to go to the front desk thrise to get it opened

This place is good for short term stay that can meet minimal needs. The staff (especially in the day time) were pleasant, professional and friendly. A shuttle to and back from Disneyland is a plus. Communication, front desk is responsive. The availability of online communication was convenient especialy with check out (late check out was available). The room I stayed in was clean and odor free. The bed was comfortable, the pillow was not. The location was conveniently near shopping center, walking distance to a dive bar with live music and pool tables. Freeway was near by yet, no noice disruption. The whole property is outdated, from the exterior to the hallways. The lobby was nice but the hallway to the rooms had an odor, wallpaper peeling etc. Note: this review has high considerations for the economical price. Therefore, expectations are aligned.

This is my second stay at this hotel because it's close to where I need to go. However, this time the shower curtain rod was crooked, and the curtain kept slipping in the middle, spilling a lot of water onto the floor. I was at risk of slipping and falling when you step out of the shower.
