IT WAS A VERY NICE LOCATION AND VERY SAFE FEELING! THERE WERE DINING PLACES WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE AND THE STAFF WAS GREAT. THE BREAKFAST BAR WAS ONLY COFFEE, HOT CHOCOLATE AND TEA. EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WAS AT THE BREAKFAST BAR HAD TO BE CHARGED TO THE ROOM! OTHER THAN THAT WE WOULD STAY AGAIN AT THIS PLACE. IT WAS A VERY NICE AREA!

Upon arriving I paid extra to have a city view and was given a room with a view of the construction site and rooftops. I went back to the front desk to tell the hotel guy and he told me that room he put me in was the city view. I showed him the photo of a city view room from hotels.com and he told me that hotels .com was wrong or mixed up. He ended up switching my room

Don’t stay here if you’re looking for amenities. Ice maker is only on the 2nd floor where you check in. Bring your own extra towels and blankets if you need them. Other than that the bed was comfy, and location was perfect.

I booked two queen rooms and they were not available when we checked. We made one king bed room work without a pullout. Generally dirty, shower was either scorching or cold, sheets were dirty. The rooms were never cleaned or serviced. They started steam cleaning carpets at 9:30PM right outside or door. Just an overall poor experience.

Disappointing Stay

This was definitely a disappointment. While somewhat bargain priced, I have stayed here previously and expected more. The pool, which was a primary consideration for my stay, was "closed for repairs". I didn't find that out until the day before my stay when I was 500 miles away on a holiday weekend so I couldn't change it. The hotel itself is run down, the carpets dirty and worn, lettering worn off signs, rooms dated and overall decor dated. The room was not very clean and you could see stains and wear patterns in the carpet...like an old Vegas hotel or something. I stayed here 10 years ago and nothing has changed. It was a neat concept then but now it's just a worn out business hotel. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

It had a very unique aesthetic with some great amenities in the property! My only con is there was no complementary breakfast outside of that. It was a great stay. Would definitely stay there again.
