Hotel was very dated room was small not a horrible experience and quite frankly I wouldn’t have even posted anything but it appears they kept badgering me to do so. Oh, there was one problem. The parking is it included in the reservation or not? Front desk said so but the offsite parking company says not. I have not resolved yet.

Checking in with the kiosk was a nightmare. I don't mind doing it when it works. I tried 3 times and kept getting an error. I finally got help from an employee that was rude. Not a good first impression. Our room in the Carson tower needs remodeling. The dresser was falling apart, no curtains, really bad. The hallway carpet is dirty. The only good thing was the shower was hot and strong.

I want to say this was an 89th birthday celebration for my mom. First night- room towels were wet on the counter. We called housekeeping for fresh towels. She discovered sink leaking and said maintenance was on the way. So we wait for them, but they did not show up. We waited till 1am when I finally called to schedule them at 10am. Maintenance shows up at 10am and we find out he has to replace faucet so we requested a different room to shower. That evening we come back to our room and the key doesn’t work. So we walk to registration to get the issue fixed. We are told security was on their way to meet us at the room. 45 minutes later security shows up but also cannot open the door because the battery is dead. So we were left sitting on the floor in the hall. I am disabled and not able to stand for long duration. We had gone back to the room to use the restroom. So you get the picture how aggregated I became. My complaint is I was told to wait for both maintenance and security and we did. We were there to celebrate not wait around. Their reason is that they were very busy and I get that, but because they told us to wait, it cut into our time when we had our own agenda which got screwed up because we were waiting. Why tell me they are on their way when they weren’t. Tell me they are gonna be awhile instead, then I could have made the choice on how to spend that time or gone to the public restroom. Instead I waited per their instructions. Aggrevating!

If you show up 1 hour before check in time they will up sell you to get in "early" .... Front desk personal is all but gone except the sales guy and a bank of kiosks. No soap in the show dispense.... For what we paid, you would think the room would be fully set up Don't play blackjack at the Nugget.... You must play an additional $2.00 per hand to get a black jack payout. In 20 mins is play...NO ONE HAS A BLACKJACK. Not sure what is going on there but for every hand dealt, the Nugget grabs $12 plus what every that take in regular $10 minimum bets ... CRAZY
