We really enjoyed our stay here. The property has a beautiful, peaceful vibe and lots of character, and the location is perfect for spending time in Mount Dora. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our visit. This is a beautiful property. We particularly loved the porch areas and the night string lights around the property. The difficulties for us were that we are 67 and 71, so getting our suitcases and cooler upstairs and then downstairs was exhausting. In addition, our room had a claw footed tub/shower, which didn't seem stable to us when using it. Perhaps just a note of caution in the reservation or room description would have caused us to reserve a different room situation. The estate was perfectly situated near downtown Mt Dora. When we had a small issue with our remote, the staff was great about addressing it quickly. When one of the estates soda cans exploded in the refrigerator, they were understanding.
