This is a beautiful property. We particularly loved the porch areas and the night string lights around the property. The difficulties for us were that we are 67 and 71, so getting our suitcases and cooler upstairs and then downstairs was exhausting. In addition, our room had a claw footed tub/shower, which didn't seem stable to us when using it. Perhaps just a note of caution in the reservation or room description would have caused us to reserve a different room situation. The estate was perfectly situated near downtown Mt Dora. When we had a small issue with our remote, the staff was great about addressing it quickly. When one of the estates soda cans exploded in the refrigerator, they were understanding.

The room was well appointed, cool, comfortable and quite. It was close to the downtown area and other venues we wanted to visit. Had a great time. Will definitely be back.

Everything was extremely nice. Had plenty of room. Loved the little kitchenette and the antique furniture in the house. My only complaint was the shower. It could use a better shower head. Other than that, it was amazing. Thank you.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property has a beautiful, peaceful vibe and lots of character, and the location is perfect for spending time in Mount Dora. The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our visit. We didn’t have any direct contact with the hosts, but everything was smooth and easy, and the stay felt relaxed and pleasant. We’d be happy to stay here again.

The grounds were being redone so there were materials scattered about. No big deal at all. The place is amazing. I spent a lot of time on the screened-in porch. It was very nice. I'll stay here again.

We have visited this property several times at least three and we were very comfortable there considering we like the separate bedrooms, even though there kitchen was adequate with a full refrigerator. The puppy was very comfortable as well..

Great Stay in Mt Dora Estate

Great stayed in Mt Dora Estate for two nights. There was an issue when arriving at 9:00 pm the property was dark and couldn’t find it to register. But located a number on the door and spoke with someone very friendly that help us with the registration and check in. After that it was smooth sailing, the room and bathroom were completely remodeled very cleaned, with a restaurant nearby within walking distance. Met the owner of the property the next day, very friendly who shows us the property, which part of it still in renovations. Would definitely stay again.

The rooms were beautiful, the location ideal - just far enough from downtown Mt. Dora that my husband didn't make me walk the whole time. There were a couple of decent bars/restaurants within walking distance. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens were high-quality. We had control of the thermostat and enough covers on the beds to keep us comfortable. I would definitely stay at The Estate at Mt. Dora again.

The Estate was an easy and convenient option for a short stay in Mount Dora to visit family. The space was perfect for us with 2 beds and a kitchenette. It was quiet and pretty. Logistics of getting in were easy and the proprietors checked in with us to ensure everything was OK. Well-located! Recommend the nearby Highland Cafe for breakfast.
