Disliked: Cleanliness, amenities
i would recommend that you book this hotel ONLY if you are desperate or you require accommodation for a very short overnight stay. this hotel is far from the airport (nowhere near the terminals - 20 GBP taxi fare) and is filthy. in retrospect, i would have paid extra to stay at the hilton where they have a restaurant and would not need to leave Heathrow.
We stayed at this hotel on 2 occasions during our recent trip from Oz to Europe. On each occasion we had difficulty in establishing pre=payment for our room, however the issue was quickly sorted. In my view this issue should not have occurred.
The hotel provided a comfortable stay and was a good choice in relation to its house dining facilities and its proximity to London Heathrow. It also serves as a pickup point for shuttles to cruises leaving from Harwich, which was convenient, and is close to public bus routes to various tourist destinations eg Windsor Castle, Kingston-On-Thames. The latter provided good shopping, good pubs and historical aspects.
We would stay there again.
this is a very nice hotel located close to Heathrow, which was good for us, as we had a very early morning flight home. There are 2 of these hotels in close proximity to the airport, so confirm your address when trying to get directions to the hotel. But staff was very friendly and when they accidentally gave us a single bed, instead of 2 beds, they immediately corrected it for us.
always stay here when we fly from Heathrow .. it is always comfortable and has amenities just right for an overnight stay. shuttle bus service is good too.

No Wake Up Call or Clock in Airport Hotel
We have stayed here before, but this time were disappointed. We called for early a.m. wake up call. They don't do wake up calls. Nor is there a clock in the room. Guess one has to be electronically self sufficient to make early flight. Only one hand towel and no Kleenex in room. Bed OK and good sleep, but room small. Staff young and helpful.
Bought meal deal with dinner OK, but breakfast not edible. Despite budget status, don't think we will stay here again.

Adequate for a brief overnight between flights
Comfortable for a quick overnight between flights. Reasonably clean, no frills.
I have used this hotel several times previously and this time was able to take advantage of the long term parking facility next door, which was extremely useful.
My overnight stay was pleasant and i enjoyed my meals in the thyme restaurant. Staff were incredibly helpful and caring, wishing my stay to be perfect in all ways.
large, three floors with many rooms, hotel....close to Heathrow (25 minute drive)...but with 5 Pound charge for transportation. Large rooms, delightful bar area and excellent restaurant. Helpful staff.
Perfectly adequate hotel, very close to Heathrow, has a convenient shuttle that stops to pick you up and delivers you to the appropriate terminal. Not a super fancy hotel, but, clean, comfortable and convenient! Had a good restaurant and coffee shop in house.
I have used this hotel on three occasions over the past year and been satisfied with the facilities and staff; the menu at the restaurant could be improved.
my first trip to London, unfamiliar with public transportation coming from US. Would've been nice if we were provided with instruction on how to catch the free shuttle from the airport. I traveled wirh my Mom and was given incorrect information from the airport. Hotel info should add details on how to get to the hotel free to and back the airport.
Stayed for one night after arriving at Heathrow Airport. Took the Hoppa Bus 6 from the terminal, but found out later that you can actually take a free bus, but as this hotel is just a bit beyond the boundary that the free bus serves, you would have to get off and walk for about 5 to 10 minutes to the hotel. The hotel has a nice restaurant and quick food stand as well as a bar. You can buy a food package for 22 GBP each which gives you a dinner and buffet breakfast the next morning. We did this and found the meals to be great. The breakfast buffet had some specialty coffees available that are included in the price. We had decaf lattes. The hotel also had a couple of computers you can use in the lobby - 3 GBP for one hour. In the room there was a selection of coffees, teas and hot chocolate. The beds were great and the room was quiet. As a bonus, if the weather is good, you can sit outside on some picnic tables to soak up the sun and watch the planes landing. There was no plane noise in our room.
