The beds were dirty. We found slippers and dirt in the sheets, when I told the front office she handed me new bedding to change myself and we paid over 300.00 a night. Will not stay here again.
We checked in on Monday April 12th. The building had a fire on the 14th, so I am waiting to hear if all of our belongings burned. I have heard from anyone. We had to cut our trip short. We were told we would get a refund for Wed night but I havenât heard anything more about that either. Right now we are out over 2000.00 in material things. No one answers the phone when I call the establishment.
This place at first glance is very creepy. Then it gets worse once you are actually there, extremely false advertising for this place. I wouldn't want to stay there even if I was given a free room.
This is an old style motel, situated in an excellent location, just a short walk to the beach. It was clean and functional. We brought our grand dog and it was very pet friendly. Our bathroom needed some maintenance; it had a clogged sink drain, and a broken shower faucet - although everything did work eventually. The refrigerator was awesome. It was small, but had a large enough freezer to put a bag of ice in! The TV worked well for watching the SeaHawks game. We will return. It was reasonable and adequate.
For $200 a night it was a total rip off. My boyfriend and I stayed the night there just so we can wake up early the next day and get a camp site. We didnât necessarily expect / need a nice motel to stay at- we just wanted a place to sleep after a 3.5 hour drive from Seattle. When we got there it was pretty late so there was no one at the lobby. There was a sign telling me to use the phone right next to the door and as soon as I lifted it up, I could hear it ringing inside. The lady was nice and gave me keys to the room. I was surprised there wasnât enough parking for us though so she just told me to park the car on the side of the leasing office (it didnât look like an official parking spot). When I got in, the first thing I noticed were scratch marks all around the bathroom door knob which super freaked me out! They definitely were not from dogs scratching at the door either. The bathroom door didnât fully shut either. I was also able to hear all the noises from outside since there were gaps around the front door. There was also a window next to the front door with no curtains or blinds so when we turned off the lights to go to bed, ALL of the light from the hallway was seeping in super bright and reflected off the mirror. Oh yeah, the sink and mirror were also right next to the front door instead of in the bathroom. In general, the place itself was kinda eerie and run down looking. The bed wasnât comfortable, there were holes in the ceiling, and everything was creaking.
Cleanliness was ok. No screens in windows so you canât open windows to hear the ocean because bugs and critters ie raccoons, deer, bobcat, bear, etc. No a/c. No phone in room to call office to complain about the tv which didnât work or to call 911 if a critter got in. All in all it was a bad bad visit.
We checked in and immediately noticed the toilet was not clean. It did not appear it had been scrubbed or wiped down in quite some time. There was mold and mildew in the shower. The bed was terribly uncomfortable and made a lot of noise with every movement. The people in the room upstairs were walking around all night. The alarm clock sounded at 1:00 a.m. without us setting it. The shower curtain fell down after a shower in the morning. The only positive thing was that they lady at the front desk was not upset to refund our money for the second night we were supposed to stay.
The staff was friendly and responsive. The inside of the room clean. Outside not so much, including the room's window which was facing the back yard; the outside was covered with smeared mud. The bathroom's fan's bearings need to be changed and the smoke alarm battery was beeping due to needing to be changed. It is close to Ilwaco where my husband was fishing and a short walk to the stores, etc.The price was very reasonable. But with the maintenance issues we could not give it a higher rating. Mary H
We so enjoyed hearing the ocean from our room. Its a small amount of rooms situated right off the beach, friendly staff, and yes, clean, efficient for a short stay.
Dirtiest hotel my family ever stayed in. When we entered room there was sand on the table and crambs with dirt on the night stand and coffee stain. Dirty microwave, spilled dried milk on the top of the fridge. Freezer had someone's ice cream. Human hair everywhere: in the bed, in the shower, in the toilet, in the sink. Floor was discussing dirty. Dirty windows and mirror. Shower tub was dirty.
Check in was great. Room was very worn and sparse. View out window was an old motorhome. Mold in bath, no curtain on window so morning sun came in, coat rack nearly hit me in head..its right there in your face when you open door.
Whole motel is old and not kept up.
I was a little nervous about booking this hotel because it had some bad reviews but upon arrival, our room was very spacious and clean! All of the amenities were sufficient, I just wish the beds were a little more comfy and the hot tub was open. All in all it was a decent stay.
