Excellent hotel! I stayed at the lodges which are wonderful! The vaulted ceiling and fireplace made it cozy on a cold, drizzly day. The breakfast was amazing! I have never ordered off a menu at a hotel!

I loved the trees around the outside and the quiet. There was a little ant issue, but I reported it when I checked out. So i assume they'll fix it.

Lighthouse had to cancel our reservation due to rain power outages. Immediately called us before we left our place, lined up another reservation at Hotel Pacific in downtown Monterey for same price, etc. which was great! The room at Hotel Pacific was comfortable & excellent. Nice complimentary breakfast also.

Room was ready 45 min late of check in time. Hot tub didn’t work. Pillows on the bed could barely be called pillows. Power on one side of the bed only. Rooms that are long overdue for a touch up. Individually these could all be no big deal but in total it’s a drag. For the price I will not be back.
