We had been trying to get accommodations in wimberley since September for a November wedding. Everyone was booked. We reached out to Mountain View at the end of October and got lodging! Five miles away! It’s so nice and quiet! Will recommend 😇

I'm sorry to hear that your stay with us did not go well and that you did not get the amount of service you expected, and I apologize on the behalf of our team. I will look into what happened, share your feedback with my staff and make sure we address these issues. We are currently going through a full renovation of the hotel (renovating all rooms, pool deck, check-in area as well as adding a bar), which will be completed by the end of this year, so I am hoping you give us another chance in the future! Very nice room, friendly staff, extra bedding and towels which really came in handy for us. Loved the view but didn’t get a chance to take advantage of the walking trail although it looked amazing. Bonus, pokestop and poke gym right outside the door!

Enjoyed our stay.

Pros: It was quiet and the hiking trail was very peaceful and enjoyable. The room was clean and comfortable.
Cons: A small refrigerator in the room would have been nice, we had some food that needed refrigeration.
Location: We went into the town of Wimberley in the evening but most shops were closed. I suspect late December is off season.
We only stayed at the Mountain View Lodge for one night but very much enjoyed it. It was quiet, comfortable and scenic. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We would definitely stay again when in the Wimberley area.
