There's a coffee shop/cafe on site. You can enjoy a drink at the bar/lounge. Public spaces have free WiFi. Event space at this hotel measures 900 square feet (84 square meters) and includes conference space. Marsh Hotel also features a picnic area, express check-in, and express check-out.
Tory was absolutely delightful and was available all weekend. We locked our keys in the room and she rescued us immediately! Coffee and bar drinks were excellent too. Room was clean and up to date! Only complaint I have is the window needs a blackout shade behind the shutters. Too bright to sleep!
A boutique-y hotel thatâs close enough to everything, but far away enough to not have to deal with the commotion. Easy street parking. Lovely personable staff. And a damn good cup of coffee
The Marsh Hotel is a great place to stay. We give it 5 stars and hope to stay there again. The rooms are tight for two people, but it works!
Please note though that the staff leaves after 11pm. Make sure you have everything you need for your stay (i.e. provided toiletries and towels) before that deadline.
I liked this property, the area was close to where I needed to be. The room could have been a little cleaner or I should say the bathroom. Other than that the property was really nice and they even have a bar & coffee shop on site.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The coffee shop/bar was great with cozy spots to chill in the common areas. The employees were super friendly and helpful. Parking was free and easy. We would stay here again.
The marsh in is perfect for your days in NOLA there is a ton of restaurants that are walking distance surrounded by a quaint neighborhood. The hotel itself is clean, quiet, and full of charm. If you need to work while youâre there the court yard is perfect for reading, working, or sitting outside and sipping cocktails from the bar! Would highly recommend
In town two nights for a wedding close by. It was pretty rainy the entire time, so we mostly ubered to get around. Bartender/barista was super friendly and helpful with recommendations on places to go. Rooms are very small and a little beat up.
Small charming âboutiqueyâ hotel with kind staff. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The area is wonderful for if you like the Garden District and Uptown. The only criticism I have is the rooms are small, but they will happily stay here again.
My son and I made an impromptu trip from Chicago and took a drive down to see a prospective college. Long story short, the first last minute hotel I booked was trash and I found the Marsh Hotel on Expedia. The Marsh Hotel is amazing! From the decor and cleanliness, to the location, to the personable and helpful staff, I was pleasantly surprised! The onsite bar and cute seating areas/patio was my favorite part! The bartender has an amazing pour and was so nice and helpful when I asked for food recommendations. This will be my go to spot for any future trips to New Orleans!
Overall not an impressive experience. I donât usually leave a bad review but itâs important for the public to know. The location isnât the safest and there wasnât much around by way of food. I asked for a cleaning service on multiple occasions and it was never completed. At best they delivered new towels. The facilities are also outdated and the hot water doesnât work. The bar downstairs is nice.
Walls are extremely thin and the rooms are very small. So loud. And bathrooms have barn doors - no privacy. Nice place but I got no sleep over 4 nights.
