Staff was very nice. Room 206 was not the best. Shower did not stay hot. The sink faucet needs to be fixed so the spout is pointed more toward the bowl. The heating unit still came on even when turned off and was loud.

Really great location on 31st stree, right by Penn station and the Empire State Building. The room was dated but clean, reception were helpful. The breakfast was pretty standard but only paper plates and plastic cutlery were available which was a big ick! Overall it was nice enough, just what we needed but not impressed by the breakfast utensils!

Sparse, almost spartan, the hotel has everything you need but no perks. Rooms are larger than in most hotels of this kind. The doors are generally noisy, so they can wake you up at all hours if your neighbours happen to arrive late or leave the room early. It is very conveniently located for those of us who want to stay close to Penn Station. It is expensive, though, for a three star hotel.
