Les lits sont petits, le quartier est trÚs bruyant, l'hÎtel est au centre ville mais une effort d'insonorisation serait à prévoir. Le petit déjeuner, annoncé comme continental, s'avÚre ridicule, du café uniquement, des toasts et du pain (pas de chocolat, thé, céréales,...). Le quartier n'est pas fou, fou. Les marchands de contre façon (sacs, lunettes, porte monnaie, ...) envahissent les trottoirs. Pour 320 euros la nuit c'est hors de prix pour 3 personnes. Si vous hésitez avec cet hÎtel prenez en un autre. Une famille de 3 personnes (2 adultes et un ado) Cordialement

L'hĂŽtel Ă©tait dans un mauvais Ă©tat. Il y avait de la moisissure dans la toilette et ce n'Ă©tait pas trĂšs propre. Le mĂ©tro passe en dessous de l'hĂŽtel alors on l'entend et on le sent vibrer en tout temps, mĂȘme la nuit.

Room was nice, the wall heater worked well, bathroom was nice, toilet paper was cheap. Noise wasn’t too bad despite construction happening next door. Below average price but the room was truly very small.

I booked 2 rooms at JG Sohotel. Rooms are small but clean. The ofher disadvantages is that it is noisy, so get your earplugs ready. Lee and other staff members were very nice and polite with all of us but Andrew was the worse. When I came down the first morning to complain about the noise and to move to another room, Andrew was just arriving from outisde and said no, there is no other room. I said the gentleman who is at the desk right now is actually checking. But Andrew insisted. I do not understand why he was so rude, without the fact that he didn't have the computer to manage the rooms in front of him. Anyways since then, I had my first bad experience with him. When my fiancé were outside the hotel door, Andrew saw me telling my husband to come in, and I couldn't do it my self because my hands were full of stuff, he didn't even help him to open the door so he can get in. Also, the same day, at the breakfast lounge, Andrew came in and said there is a notice that we cannot use butter on the bread and put it on the bread, and immediately he ask one lady customer of the hotel accusing her of putting the bread to grill with butter. The lady from spain stayed composed and answer nicely that she didn't do it. He insisted and she reply again very nicely, that she didn't do it. Andrew was so rude to her, he didn't even apologize and he just left without a nice word to her or to all of us. At this point, Andrew is the worse and if I was the owner I would fire him right away.

The breakfast and lounge has nice decor. Free Breakfast is white toast, everything bagel, cream cheese, jam, yogurt, butter, coffee and OJ from 7-9am. Hotel keeps it clean and stocked during breakfast hours. It was perfect for our needs. My recommendation is to get the larger room with 2 double beds bc the room with 2 twin beds is very tight. There is about 1-inch between the two twin beds. Bathrooms are a bit outdated but everything works well. Small fridge and ear plugs available in room. It’s NYC there will be noise from outside but mainly from Loud cars and police sirens. Shampoo and bar soap available. Air conditioner and heater unit also works perfectly. We had to use both heat and AC in November. Location is great. Subway stop is right beside. Chinatown steps away. Great restaurants, bars, shops all walking distance. Front desk is also helpful and friendly. Filtered water available all the time.
