Stayed the 6th of December 2025 for a weekend. Great & safe place as a female traveler. Beds were very comfy, rooms & bathrooms were sufficient. Robes & slippers & eye mask & all the extras were a nice touch, including free tampons in restroom. Price was excellent. Within walking distance of everything. We covered 15 miles in 2 days! Lots of restaurants within walking distance & open late. Felt very safe out, but I was with my husband. I was on the 3rd floor, he was on the 4th. I booked him months ahead. I unexpectedly was able to have the weekend off & booked myself at now now as well. No regrets! I slept well, temperature was a little warm for us but a fan is helpful to travel with. I did hear doors Opening & shutting but it's expected especially if you need to use the restroom. Everyone including guests were very friendly and respectful. They had security outside the doors, its very safe. No issues except guests who do not follow the rules. Headphones not used (maybe offer ear buds for purchase at front desk while going over the rules) & talking on the phone at 2am, ridiculously rude. Im assuming it was a language barrier as maybe they dont understand the rules at check in possibly. I did message front desk & unfortunately it wasn't addressed. Wear earplugs, some people are plain rude and just refuse to follow rules, there's always one. Definitely worth staying & id stay again.

Cheap option for a solo traveler in a convenient location in new york city, however this hostel style hotel is not for everyone. Rooms are the size of a closet and with the open ceilings you can hear every movement around you. Constant sneezing, coughing, snoring etc that you could hear was unpleasant and the no food in the room rule is something that should be listed on the expedia page because i wish i had known that before booking.

Loved the mattress, the bathrooms (the shower controls were simple to use)and the provided toiletries. Big plus for Dyson hair dryers which I used to dry my clothes. There's also attractive mosaic tile on the floors and in the bathroom area. I don't understand why hotels no longer offer washcloths. Are people excessively stealing them? Wish the walls were more soundproofed, especially considering the open ceiling. My neighbor kept zipping and unzipping his suitcase. Also, it's annoying when people slam their doors. In New York City, this is a major faux pas. Be considerate and hold the door while you close it!

This was an interesting experience. Hotel is meant for sleeping ONLY. Small space but it works for simplicity. Only thing I “did not” like was lack of plugs for charging devices. Would stay again

Snug fit, but great for someone who travels light (like one bag and maybe a briefcase light). Better sound absorption for the units is recommended and their ambient temp is a bit warmer than one would expect.

, This place is terrible. I'm a senior citizen and I was given a top bunk, which had no guard rails or rails on the ladder. The pictures on the website are not correct. Per the front desk, the fire department made them remove the curtains because they were against code, so every time someone came into the room, the motion sensor lights came on. There are no curtains on the windows. I asked for the front desk to correct an error on my reservation and he did not do it. I was awoken at 11:15pm because they had me checking out a day early. They provided no assistance and was just told to get out. Management at this establishment should be ashamed of themselves!

Great option for the solo traveler that would save some money. The bathrooms and showers where clean and in good condition. The small rooms provided enough privacy. The biggest issue is that doors are too heavy and need proper maintenance so they don't sag and are the biggest disturbance to the quietness that I wish I got.

It’s a little more similar to a hostel than a tiny room, although you do get visual privacy (although you can hear a pin drop in the hallway/other room). I never had the issue of having to wait to shower/use the bathroom, and they’re all in private stalls so its not like you’re out in the open like a gym or locker room. For what it is, it gets the job done, and it’s in a really swanky area so I like being able to walk at night.
