Ok let's get into it!! Let's start with Cynthia who works the front desk (I think she's one of the leads)! She was dope! (For those who don't understand the lingo lol) she was amazing!! Super professional extremely pleasant and welcoming and very helpful! The decor of the hotel is not your average decor! It's gives a bit of tribal history from the works of art throughout the hotel! It gives Dominican culture as well with a splash of the Dominican salons! I have stayed in resorts and hotels all over this place is like no other! The rooms were super cool with brick style walls stylish hooks on the walls for hanging, plenty of outlet usage, a tiny cute fridge. The hallways were so clean and the lighting gives suck a relaxing feel! We had a room with a window! Being from NYC we see big buildings daily but the room we had gave us such an amazing view of Harlem, the GWB, the Heights different parts of the Bronx I mean it was so refreshing. Front desk staff were very efficient friendly and courteous! I must say I truly found a hidden Gem in NYCs Washington Heights! Now let's get into the restaurant babyyy that food was delicious! Let's talk about Freddy real quick! Super friendly super cute (Guys 😉) bartender! The way he made those mojitos amazing!! I'm glad I chose here to stay for my husbands birthday and no where else! If you're from out of town you will be in the convenience of anything you can want! Shopping area transportation to for much more! You'll enjoy your stay!!

I was only there for one short stay (night) so I base my review largely on the fact that I sat at a near empty, small bar for nearly 15 minutes while staff ran back and forth getting and making drinks. There was one woman who was preparing a drink with a blow torch who was probably the bar tender, but not a friendly word from anyone. A simple "I'll we right with you" would have be huge.

Not impressed

Picked location because parking was offered but it was full when arrived. Also restsurant advertised but closed upon check in (3pm). Outdoor courtyard also closed, so nowhere to gather except lobby (then reprimanded when we gathered in lobby abd told to use courtyard instead after being told courtyard was closed). Property has potential, but not if you cant use the facilities they promote. Asked for a room close to elevator due to mobility issues and was given one as far away as could be. Not a convenient location to Yankee Stadium when you take traffic and traffic patterns into account. Would not stay here again. Room was just so-so. Elevators were fast.

Definitely Recommend!

My visit was wonderful from the moment I checked in. All the staff I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Knowing I've never been to the area, I was offered advice on local cuisine and places to visit. The room was the perfect size for a solo traveler on a short stay. It was clean, comfortable, and offered everything I needed. I had a beautiful view and the whole theme of the hotel was really unique. The only thing I wish they had was carpeted rooms or area rugs especially around the bed.
