The facility was very run-down and outdated. There was no elevator. We are elderly disabled persons and were given a room on the second floor so no elevator was a definite problem . We had rented two rooms. In one room the door to the bathroom could not be closed. In the other room the toilet seat had fallen off. There were no cups or gasses in the room which is usually standard. We had to go to the desk to get some. There was no ice bucket. Again we had to go to the desk to get one. There were large visible patches on all the hallway walls. Very shabby. On a positive note - the desk manager who checked us in was very friendly and helpful.

The outside looks old and not kept up. The inside is a bit musky and needs a deep cleaning. Yet, the rooms are starting to get remodeled so they are trying to get the place more inviting to stay and better. For the price, and the accomodations I received. It's worth coming back.

Nothing worked in the first room. They moved me to another room, where the plumbing was backed up in the sinks. The place stunk and was dingy. The two people behind the desk were very nice. We left and didn’t even spend the night

It’s summer time but seems like the pool is closed. Could definitely use a new carpet in the hallway. Staff was great except for was in the area a little early but couldn’t check in till three oclock

I travel a lot for business but not one to review or complain but have to add a review for this Howard Johnson hotel. I understand the hotel cost was much less than others close by so the cost is great but the hotel is way outdated. The lobby and halls were definitely not appealing but the room and bathroom were pretty clean so that is definitely worth it. The bed was comfy but pillows were awful. Overall, the hotel is fine, you get what you pay for but the biggest issue was the check-in process and woman at the front desk. Or should I say not at the front desk. It was Thanksgiving night and maybe she was expecting a quiet evening but she was away from the front desk for 45 minutes. Despite nthe sign she left to call or text if waiting, she did not answer or return to check me in for 45 minutes. And when she returned to the front desk, she was totally nasty. I assume I interrupted her dinner. Aside from her being nasty, the hotel was ok but for the price, not sure you can do much better.

The bed linen was dirty felt itching and biting from bed . I asked for clean linen they offered no assistance.
