I always stay here as I travel from Texas to Kansas with my dog. Despite being pet-friendly, the place is always clean (cleaner than other La Quintas).

Location is great. Easy on and off the interstate. Near several eating choices. Comfy bed and pillows. The room appeared clean until I spilled water and used a white towel to clean up the water off the tile. The sink drained slowly. The sheets were truly some of the worst I’ve slept on. Very scratchy and pilling. Like burlap. The worst part for us was the fridge didn’t work. We immediately tried to put meds and dog food in the fridge and noticed it was barely cool to the touch. The desk clerk admitted that several fridges on that floor were that way. I asked for a different room. He was kind enough to check the other fridges in the available rooms on that floor and none of them worked. They either need to replace these or take it off the list of amenities. I would not have chosen to stay here as we have meds and pet food that must be refrigerated. He was apologetic and truly tried to help, but I had the inconvenience of having to keep the ice supply refreshed all night and wet items. He also offered the employee fridge which was very nice but would have been super inconvenient. Will not stay here again.

We could not get in our room after several tries, Front desk had to tell us how to do the door to get in, no heat in the room, very cold, front desk says heater works, came and worked on it, finally got it sort of working, ice machine broke on our floor, breakfast was not great, worker there actually to the tongs from the biscuits while we were getting one, Hard/ cold biscuits, not even gravy helped.
