On the plus side the room was clean, parking was convenient and close to room. Plus we felt safe with functional door and window locks. On the minus side the room was very dark due to a lack of lighting, extremely dated, and I swear I've found better furniture on the side of the road. Checking in took a long time even though there was no line and the friendly clerk helped us right away. I reserved the room myself but the clerk needed to see my partner's ID and even took a picture of her driver license which seemed over invasive and an invasion of privacy.

This hotel has no refrigerator, microwave, or ironing board. It was not fully stocked with towels or beauty condiments. I extended my stay over the phone and there was no note left that I did. When I arrived to rescan my keys, the front desk receptionist had to look for my file. God bless that lady because she stayed off the clock to help me. If I arrived later than I did, there would have been no one to help check me in and I would have had to sleep in my car. Also I did not like that this hotel charges per person. They tried to charge an extra $10 for my 1 yr old to stay with me. So ridiculous! The only good things I can say about this hotel is that it is spacious and quiet but I would not stay here again.

Very plain with turn of the century furniture... Some art on the wall would be nice... Go to the thrift store and buy some furniture or get some secondhand stuff from all the hotels closing down in Vegas or remodeling... The towels are worse than the cheapest of motels... Got one bar of cheap soap for the shower and sink... Not even a disposable shampoo packet what's really lets you know how cheap this place really is even though the prices were more than in Vegas in a nice Hotel... Torn lamp shade... Drapes almost as old as me and I'm 72... One thing I did appreciate is it didn't smell like smoke despite the old drapes...

Amazing artwork and furniture...not... No easy place to plug your cell phone in because cell phones didn't exist when this place was built and they haven't upgraded it to even include an extension cord...

Room was old and cracked counters and floors. Carpet seemed dirty. Called for towels and toilet paper and never came. Had to go to front desk and get them. Only 1 bar of soap and nothing else. No shampoo, conditioner ect... The aour mix at the bar was nasty. The staff was very friendly. I think i will stay somewhere else next time. iwilvery.friendly.though.

Entire property is clean but out dated. Bed was not very good. Older flat screen tv, small fridge had been removed. Basically no real amenities to speak of only a couple small bars of soap in the bathroom. There was even an old push button phone that they charged if you used it even for local calls. It’s Ok for a solo business one night stay in and out, if you have no other option, but I wouldn’t want to bring my kids here.

Be aware that for a deluxe room with two adults they only put a total of 2 bath towels in the room and one roll of toilet paper, there were no spare toilet tissue rolls in the room. We tried to call housekeeping on the room’s phone to get more but the room phone did not work to call anyone at the hotel. We had to call on our cell phone and leave a message about needing more towels but no one ever called back. We had to go out and buy more toilet paper ourselves. We later complained to a housekeeper the next day and she explained that they only put one bath towel per adult in the rooms and only one roll of toilet paper, when we asked she gave us 2 more bath towels to use after we promised to leave them in the room when we left. The television in the room kept losing the signal every couple minutes which made watching tv frustrating. There was no microwave in the deluxe room. It was a very aggravating stay and we won’t be coming back to Saddle West.

We enjoyed our stay at Saddlwest. The price was right for a last minute stay. The room was clean and check in was easy. My only gripe about the stay was Blackjack 21 isnt on the machines. Staff was very friendly.
