this was a very cost effective property, but there were a number of problems that i had to accept because of the cost: the room safe was broken and could not be fixed. i was advised just to put the "do not disturb" sign on my door. i was not wary of staff, but that the hotel seemed quite open to non guests walking into and through the hotel. so my problem was not solved.
i had to ask to have a small refrigerator brought to the room (the cupboard where it should have been was empty) and it took two days to get there. these are small things, so i was like "whatever", but they were problems that the staff couldn't solve easily.
the hotel also hosts dance parties on the rooftop numerous nights, so sleep can be a challenge, if you go to bed before 1 or 2AM.
most of the staff are very friendly and super helpful, but there are front desk staff who do not seem to care too much.
overall, it was alright (i was in Mexico, that was good enough), but I will definitely not return to this property. its better to spend a little more money and get something with less or no problems.
