The property seems new and fairly clean. The bathroom sink was clogged when I checked in. The area seems unsafe because of the poorly lit streets.

NO parking near the hotel without a 20$ fee. Parking garage is public and quite a hike We used hotel valet for a fee and they were great. Clean room, no coffee but there was a pot and cups I stayed 2 nights and when I asked for housekeeping after the first night they said that they don’t offer it for “just 2nights” I pleaded and they agreed to ask for an exception luckily they did change the sheets but nothing else was tidied sadly I was locked out of the room the second night and told that it was because I booked the stays separately after some wait I was given a new key and could gain access so…not the best experience

So I come to Portland pretty often and I’ve never stayed at the Hyatt house so this is my first time. I was very disappointed that the bar was closed because I really wanted to spend time there rather than going out, but I found out the bar is closed because they were short staffed and they didn’t have anybody to work the bar, however That should be reflected in the price and also described in the description of the property because it may not have stayed there otherwise. However, but I loved about the place is that there is so many places to eat and convenient little bars even literally like 50 feet away. There was a nice little bar across the street cup of coffee shops. I mean as far as convenience. It’s pretty hard to beat you also have the food truck area right around the corner which was like You know 100 yards away a Mexican place about 200 yards away I mean so many places to eat, so that was amazing Personally, though I stay in the Marriott a lot because I’m a Marriott Bonvoy member and I just felt that for a king size room the room size was very small. It was modern and a nice design, but there really was like no space to move around so I felt that the room sizes were very small. The decor was wonderful. I thought the breakfast was average for hotels that offer breakfast. It wasn’t amazing but it didn’t suck and the morning staff the two women were much happier and more social compared to the night staff the guy that just sat there and stared at his phone.
