What an amazing first trip to Vancouver! My Hubby and I came up birthday, and we were blown away by the hospitality! The rooms are beautiful and offer amazing views. The little touches like towel art, a complimentary bottle of wine and valet parking made our stay perfect! We walked several miles as we toured the city, but buses and Lyfts were readily available. We were very spoiled and hope to return! Thank you, Paradox for an amazing birthday!

We were there 5 nights. Both the sink and the shower drains were plugged, had to get maintenance up. The lighting system and blind system wouldn't work properly, fought for 2 days before maintenance came up and had to disconnect the nightstand controls to get the rest working. They never did fix the nightstand controls.

The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful with us and our dogs. They provided complimentary bedding, bowls and treats for them. The room was large and comfortable for all of us and even though we didn’t use the balcony, it was still a nice option to have. The valet parking was convenient, however during weekend nights with the club operating, it took longer than usual. This was our second time staying at Paradox and we will definitely return!

The room advertised as city scape view I felt was fake advertising. On the pictures it looks beautiful and when we checked in we got 7th floor and the view was of the parking garages roof and the building next door… rooms lower than like maybe 15th floor should not be advertised as city scape view, very disappointing.. When I called for an upgrade they said nothing was available. I feel like I paid all this money for nothing.. the bed was also very hard, kept waking up not being able to move my body especially when laying on the side… another reason I booked this hotel was because of the full service spa. When I called to book hydrotherapy they said they didn’t have hydrotherapy. Why is hydrotherapy included as an amenity in the spa section?? The spa didn’t have available steam and sauna rooms either, you could pay an additional fee to a massage to book sauna time; otherwise you had no access to sauna and the spa hottub was only available if you booked a couples massage… I feel very ripped off. I’ve stayed in hotels with way better views and amenity’s and paid half the price. What was supposed to be a spa/relaxing new years experience was just a boring room with no view and no spa experience.
