Good hotel stay. Had issues with shower.

Our stay was great until our shower broke down and had to switch rooms. The hotel had a separate room ready for us to go. Otherwise everything was pretty smooth. There was a little mix up with getting a credit for $20 meal vouchers for each of us to compensate for the shower issue but when we went to redeem it the other staff members had no idea about it. It appears that the hotel room we booked was under someone’s time share and was separate from the hotel itself. Therefore the hotel could not offer any compensation. It was suggested I speak directly with hotels.com which I will be following up with.

Avoid the hide-a-bed.

The hide-a-bed is the worst my husband and I have ever slept on. The springs are almost poking through, creeks really loud with slightest move. Needs to go to the dump. The king bed was comfortable, there were 4 of us staying.

Our go-to stay in downtown Vancouver

We enjoyed a delightful 7 night stay at the Rosedale property. The accommodations were very comfortable, and the location was incredibly convenient—just steps from Robson Street, which boasts fantastic shopping and numerous dining options. We were a short 7-minute walk to the Seabus in Yaletown. Although we had a vehicle, we didn’t find it necessary to use it, as everything we needed was within close proximity. Parking was also safe and secure, allowing us to relax about our car. During our stay, we moved from a hotel room to a condominium room, and I highly recommend booking a condominium room. It’s more modern and slightly upgraded compared to the regular hotel room. We loved people-watching from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which added to our experience. The staff were exceptionally friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable, providing great recommendations for activities and restaurants. The only downside was some elevator congestion one night due to a full house, as the hotel was hosting guests for a concert at the Pacific Center just a couple of blocks away. Overall, we had a great experience. The Rosedale has become our new go-to hotel in downtown Vancouver.
