"The Beacon Inn continues to be our favourite place to stay whenever we visit Sidney & Victoria. It is beautifully decorated with antiques and tasteful Victorian decor. It’s on a quiet street that is close to the main Beacon Ave & the ocean walkway. The light breakfast that is provided in one’s room may also be supplemented by other treats in the lounge. The main level sitting & tea areas are also a bonus & the late afternoon complimentary sherry is a nice treat. The staff have limited hours & are always friendly and helpful. It’s also nice to have the keypad front door lock to come & go at any time. "

"we stayed at the hotel grand Pacific for my mother‘s 80th birthday. We very much enjoyed our harbor view suite. The hotel was great location and very clean. We had a beautiful view. Service was great. Check out and check-in was easy. They even gave us a free dessert for my mother for her birthday from the restaurant. We definitely stay here again."
