Below average rating because the room was not clean and although Black Mountain is a safe area, the motel specifically felt unsafe. Staff was friendly though.

we took two rooms next to each other- one was just a bit musty but both were spacious, clean, relatively quiet and very serviceable. Limited selection of muffins for breakfast so ate at a nearby Subway restaurant - savings on the rooms more than covered the breakfast elsewhere. will definitely stay again.

Beautiful mountain scenery behind the property. The only slight negative was no cereal with milk and orange juice available. All they serve is a store bought muffin.Considering the prime mountain location it's a good value overall

Guy at front desk at 1am was awesome. I was unsure if the air conditioning was working but it got cold in the room so apparently it did. The floor was, a little dirty, just needed swept but otherwise was just fine

This location was surrounded by mountains and very quiet. It was in the middle of the activities we wanted to do on our mini vacation. Everyone was very nice.
