As a local, we love staying on Tunnel Mountain instead of downtown Banff. We were upgraded and the suite was beautiful; I'm sucker for a wood burning fireplace. Love the stainless steel outdoor hot tub. First time staying and will be back. Thank you for the amazing stay!

A quintessential mountain lodge complete with wood burning fireplace (logs included), hot tub and very good on site restaurant and lounge. Great quiet location on Tunnel Mountain but still within walking distance to the town. Friendly staff as well.

We absolutely loved staying at the Buffalo Mountain Lodge! The staff were so friendly and the room was so cozy. The room service was prompt and I really enjoyed how they refilled our fireplace with wood everyday. The only critique I have is the parking was difficult to navigate in the crowded parking spaces. The bus stop was convenient and the property provided free bus passes which was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you are looking for a place to stay in Banff!
