Very nice clean cottage and convenient location in Big Fork. Excellent communication with the staff through text regarding checkin and check out etc. Highly recommend and would stay here again if traveling to Big Fork!
Loved this! Our cottage was spacious, clean, updated and comfortable. Right in the small charming town (enjoyed ora y plata tacos). Listened to the adjacent river (when the windows were open). Lots of k-cup coffee options plus hot chocolate packets. AC and overhead fan, parking space in front of cottage, exteriors all recently refreshed, porch with small lantern provided, good communication, easy check-in/out. â€ïž
The cottages make a cute small community easily walkable to restaurants and shopping. Cottage has great amenities and front porch to allow sitting outside and enjoying the sound of the river rushing by.
Well. We were given instructions to get into a unit and when we entered the unit, it was clearly already occupied (although the owners were out). Got in around 7pm, the front office was closed. Took us 15 minutes to get ahold of someone. Told them the situation, and they moved us to another unit. As far as I know, they did not change the lock or inform the tenet of the unit we first entered. Very concerning as far as safety goes. We will not be returning to this location.
Bridge Street is a convenient place to stay, Clean and comfortable. The parking this time was a little messy due to construction on bridge. It will be nice when completed
Weâve been coming to the cottages for ten years now and love everything about them. Beautiful setting, and within easy walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants, plus the nature trail along the Swan River. The cottages themselves are very nice inside and out. Cozy and clean, but plenty of room. The staff is fantastic. Best place to stay in the area.
I live in MOntana and wanted an easy getaway for the weekend. I LOVED these cottages. I stayed in #9. Check in was easy, everything worked as expected. Walked to some leisurely shopping on Saturday and ate and had cocktails at every place in town! Perfect!
There was some confusion with the access code to check in; I specifically arrived during office hours to avoid any issues, but it was closed early. The note on the door said a code should have been provided via text. I knew I hadn't received any texts, so I called the provided number - took a couple of hours to receive a call back. Luckily, I found the code in my email in the meantime. Not a big deal, but it was annoying when I did speak with someone and they implied the confusion was my fault for not providing a cell number - I know they had one because I was text an online registration link directly from them the day before.
Other than the poor initial contact, which probably isn't an issue during the busier summer months, it was a good experience. The cottages themselves are very cute outside and well-furnished inside. The cottage was prepared for arrival with the heat up and ambient lighting on. Very clean. Ample coffee and tea was provided. The only other issue was a shortage of hot water in the shower.
