Not in alignment with the Marriott brand
This was a solo trip for me. I requested the free shuttle transportation as per the email instructions and no one came. I waited well over an hour, while being hounded by every taxi driver offering me to give me a ride the 10 Kilometers for anywhere from $60 to $30 dollars. I called, no one answered. I ended up paying $30 for taxi that dropped me at the wrong place. This is terrifying when traveling alone. I picked this place specifically for the security of shuttle transportation with the Marriott name. I told them upon my arrival and they said, “Oh sorry our system was down” they showed me where I could see my requests and calls but didn’t give me a refund. I requested a late check out which they accommodated, however the cleaning crew was playing loud music as they went about their business. Granted all this isn’t terrible and I know I’m in a different country, from my perspective, not in alignment with the Marriott from my perspective.

The property itself is very nice. Our room was also very nice and comfortable. The restaurant was expensive but that is expext when inside a hotel. The food was avarage to good, no complaints there I do have one very large complaint, we had originally booked for the night of 2/7 and needed to change dates due to a family emergency, and the hotel charged us another $131.48, more than we even originally paid. We did not want to cancel our stay just needed a date change. We will not be staying at a Marriot again.
