Do not recommend this hotel. Food is terrible, out of 7 days we had maybe 2 dicent meals, the rest was garbage . All 3 of the family members got sick, even though we were very picky what we eat. Food is reheated 2-3 times, bread is stale , chicken reused in salads next day, potato reheated and looking at the pizza paper that we found , was brought from outside buffet near the pool where it was sitting all day in the heat. They dont know how to use a thermometer - they place it on the bottom of the heated dish. Drinks are all diluted - juices, even soda with what feels like a tap water. Ask for cans and bottles and make sure bottles are sealed . Do not drink anything with ice! Ice looks like is going from the same source- tap water or i dont have explanation of our sickness, last 4 days we ate bread, omlets and fruits .Hotel by itself is nice, but I will never rely on travelocity ratings , the rating is barely 6 , not 8 . Restaurants are a joke , one page of menue including everything , food looks like a reheated TV dinner, IF reheated , but you have to reserve it 24 hours in advance and if you are late they charge $20. Never again.

The staff was absolutely fantastic! They made my wife and I feel right at home. Food selection was great as well. Rooms were clean and decent, but the resort/ beach greatly made up for whatever may have been lacking. I would come back in a heart beat.

Room was okay and clean. No complains about the rooms. Staff is nice, they really try their best, but FOOD, I am sorry but it was awful. Whole 8 days we had to eat the same food. We are not picky at all, but I was nit prepared to eat food just so I am not starving. They didn’t have mexican dishes, they had sushi with carrots, so they look like it is salmon. You have to wait for a french fries near the pool as they don’t provide it unlimited. For 8 days they had only strawberry ice cream and two days without it at all. I see that cookers trying to cook but management doesn’t provide normal groceries for them to cook. My family couldn’t wait to get to the airport to eat normal food. Management should change their strategies and spend more money for the normal food. You can see that owners are trying to save money on everything. I feel bad for people who work there, they are really nice but we didn’t like our stay there because of management and will not choose Cancun as a vacation destination.
