For 6 nights for almost 6k, every day you will have sales people harassing you for spas or dinners that are awful. The lobby is open with fans and it’s extremely hot. The restaurants were completely trash. Restaurants are open from 5-10:30 but almost each one won’t let you go in after 9:45pm unless it’s the buffet. Room service isn’t free each delivery is a $10 charge. I stayed at Oleo just a few weeks before coming to Sunscape and it was half the price for 6 nights with better food, better ac, and people not harassing you to buy overpriced spas. Don’t change American money at the front desk for pesos, you’ll lose money. Make sure to do it at the airport. It had 2 pools, the bigger pool was always packed and super loud. We used the smaller one which was better to just relax. The only employee who made the hotel better was the ice cream man Julio. He was extremely nice and friendly and told us how to use the bus systems in Cancun.

We really enjoyed our time here. It’s a pretty perfect blend for families. Plenty for adults to enjoy but incredibly family centric if you have kids. We are not picky eaters, but we thought the food was really good (especially for what people seem to expect at all-inclusive resorts). The staff were all lovely and the resort is very navigable. While I always highly recommend excursions and some exploring, if you’re looking to unwind and not do much, Sunscape is a great place to do it. We would 100% return for another visit.

Friendly staff! The rooms were clean, and the air conditioning worked excellently. A few restaurants were available, and the food could be improved, but I have no doubt that now that there is a new owner of the hotel, they will enhance that. I would recommend it, especially for the price.
