It was an ok stay for just one night but as I was getting ready for bed in room 221 I noticed the white mattress sheet was dirty and had spots on it, I wasn't sure if housekeeping changed the sheets or not or if they don't bleach their sheets when doing laundry but my skin crawled most of the night, the fleece blanket in the middle had a bleach stain of some sort on it and the bathroom sink faucet leaked around the gasket of the faucet. The shower was ok was nice that I was able to remove the shower head and move around but it didn't stay in one spot and the shower head itself I think needs to be replaced with a new one. There was only one setting on it that worked the best. The main door coming into your room had a gap under the door where insects or other small creatures could possibly get inside too. It was an ok room for $66 for the night but next time I'm going to do better research before booking a room especially since it's non-refundable. I am OCD so when I saw all these issues it made me wish I had my cleaning supplies and small toolkit with me to make my room more comfortable

Enhanced Basics and Affordable Stay

We have been stopping at this Travelodge for many years on our way north and south. It’s convenient and very affordable. The rooms are clean and offer the important amenities of coffee pot, good size refrigerator, iron/board, TV and microwave. It’s in a quiet location not far off I-81.

I have been going to this motel for more than 10 years when I visit Chambersburg. The manager and staff have always been friendly and willing to provide whatever is needed. The place is spotlessly clean. The motel is old but has been remodeled and has an elevator. The rooms have coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator and safe. They do not provide breakfast but there are nearby restaurants that have full menus, in my mind a better option than the limited choices at other motels in the area. there is no gym, no pool, no conference room, but I don't need those amenities. I am happy with an inexpensive motel where I can comfortably sleep and wake up with coffee in my room.
