Woke up to bed bugs! Took one to the front desk to show them but they didn't adjust the charges to my room. I was still charged for the 2 nights I booked even though I left. Will never use this again.

The staff were all friendly and the Mexican restaurant downstairs was great. That's where anything good ends. The breakfast had subpar options and the eggs and sausage were ice cold. Not just like they weren't warm anymore...literally chilled. This was extremely disappointing since the only reason we chose this hotel was because they offered a buffet style breakfast. The first room we were put in was actually supposed to be blocked off due to problems with the shower. We found that out after staying there one night. When we told the front desk that the shower didn't work, they gave us a new room. We thought that would be the end of our problems. Nope. The bedding all had stains. One comforter had a tear that seemed to be glued back together and then torn again. There was snot smeared on a couple of the walls. The 2 queen bed room only provided 2 towels. We did make sure to test the shower before transferring all of our belongings. It ran...but once we actually used the shower, we found that it didn't drain properly. So we had to shower in ankle deep water. It also would have been nice to have had the trash picked up and coffee replenished during our 4 night stay. We regret staying here for our much anticipated anniversary trip and will choose somewhere else next time we're in the area.

Hotel staff was nice, room was clean, I never got a washcloth, they said they ran out. Elevator went out one day which was a hassle since I had to carry a stroller downstairs. Quiet area peaceful stay. The restaurant was GREAT!

Best thing here was the staff. The hotel is a bit worn from age but overall OK. The housekeeping here is a 3rd day service. FYI, that's too long. We had to go to the desk and insist on service. We were there with 2 other couples and one of them didn't get service until the 5th day. Even though we were out of shampoo they didn't leave us any. I assume since they saw that we had some of our own we didn't need any. FYI, I bring my own so when we run out we have some. Not so they can skimp on their supplies. What I'm most angry about happened at checkin. When I book apparently I clicked on 1 king accessible instead of 1 king non-accessible. They asked me if I would give up the room in case they needed it. I was ok with that except they offered us a 2 queen non-accessible. I wanted the 1 king so we would have a couch. To get a 1 king non-accssible they said it would be an extra $10 per night. We had driven all day and were tired so I agreed. I was willing to do the right thing but real unhappy for being charged for doing it. I won't stay again.

Insecure & sewer gas due to improper sink install

The place is not very secure. Anyone from off of the street could walk in any of the unlocked doors to any room 24/7. Most places require you to walk in through the lobby after hours if not 24/7. The security lock was broken off of the door (see photo). The bathroom was horrible due to sewer gas leaking into the bathroom because the person that installed the sink had no clue what they were doing and didn't install a pee trap to block the sewer gas (see photo). When we told the front desk they didn't seem to care at all and acted like it was a common regular problem, which makes me think many rooms likely have the same issue.
