Excellent property, couldn’t be better!!!! Central location, walking distance to Playa Norte, walking distance to restaurants and shopping. But best of all is 2 things: (1) owners fix any issues within minutes; and (2) this is absolutely the most well-stocked VRBO property I have ever stayed at. Many VRBO properties require you to purchase your own base level supplies, such as trash bags, salt and pepper, olive oil for cooking, etc. however, this property comes fully stocked, with sandwich bags, salt and pepper and other base level spices, cooking supplies, pool towels, beach towels, shower towels, etc. this is without a doubt the best VRBO property I have ever stayed at. - Daniel G., Fort Worth, TX

Wonderful Place! This place is awesome! Just like the photos. This was our 3rd visit to Isla Mujeres and this was the perfect location right on the Malecon with the ocean right off the deck with the pool; just paradise! Can walk anywhere downtown and easy cab trip or rent a golf cart to explore the rest of the island. The kitchen has all the supplies you need to cook but with so many great restaurants we didn't need to use it as much as I thought we would! We stayed "home" quite a bit and never tired of the pool and view of the ocean (the sunrises are gorgeous). The place is spotless and they even supply laundry detergent for the washer. The perfect place to stay for large groups! The views from the house are absolutely breathtaking and the property is located within a very short walking distance to the downtown area with great shopping, restaurants and the beach, and a short golf cart ride away from the south end of the island! Dawn and Tom were amazing hosts, friendly, accommodating, easy to communicate with and had great recommendations! If you're looking for a place to stay on Isla Mujeres, stop looking - you've found it. The location is perfect - short walks to the restaurants, beaches, and shopping on the north end of the island. Easy access to the ferry. Spectacular sunrise view. Pool area is shaded in the afternoon, making it even more comfortable and usable. Kitchen is well equipped, linens and towels all provided and in great shape, beds are comfortable, bathrooms spacious, and the owners are local, well versed in the area, and great to work with. This large villa is majestic, yet a warm and welcoming vacation rental that's great for extended families or larger groups. Located in El Centro (downtown) right on the Malecon, it's a perfect walking or running trail, an easy stroll to breakfast, lunch or dinner. All the Isla Mujeres excitement is so close, but you'll be reluctant to leave this property. There are 7 terraces, all with utterly spectacular views of the Caribbean Sea to the East and Cancun to the West.

The ground level terrace has an inviting Baja Shelf splash pool, with a Fountain and bubblers. It transforms into a stunning water feature when the lights come on at night. Bask with your favorite beverage in a lounge chair in the pool, sit for a relaxing soak or let the little ones enjoy the shallow area. An impressive mural with Jorge the dragon is on the North pool patio wall because well, every Castle 🏰 needs a Dragon.

The two Oceanfront Suites open to a second level million dollar sunrise view patio. A sweet second level morning coffee terrace on the street side of the property is perfect for watching Isla Mujeres come to life at the start of each day.

The third floor Oceanview Penthouse has a patio with views of the Bay of Cancun and Stunning Sunsets, or watch the ferries come & go and catamarans sailing. There are oceanfront balconies outside the master bedroom slider and the living room.

Our 4th level rooftop terrace provides 360 degree views of the entire island that can't be beat - a great place for working out, sunset cocktails and romantic stargazing. Check out the 360 view video - pure HEAVEN.

Since this home is close to all of Isla Mujeres' downtown action - restaurants, shops, nightlife and beaches NO GOLF CART IS NEEDED (avoid the sobriety checkpoints ;-) to enjoy your stay at Castillito del Caribe. Although you may want to rent one just for a day to explore the enchantment of the rest of the Island. We can certainly help you with reservations for that too!

This gorgeous villa is uniquely decorated with custom tapestries, each an individual work of an artist. Ceiling fans are generously placed, circulating gentle sea breezes throughout the home. Each room has individual temperature controls - both A/C and quiet, high quality ceiling fans.

The first floor boasts a large great room, fully equipped gourmet kitchen, an indoor dining area all with floor to ceiling disappearing sliding glass doors. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms on the first level, one bathroom is ensuite with a tub. Both the lower level Master Suite and the North Oceanfront Suite have king beds that may be configured as 2 twins, with advanced notice. There are 3 futons in the first floor Great Room, and in both second level suites.

The second level features Dual Oceanfront Suites with king beds, full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchens with refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, coffee makers, blenders and more. Living areas include comfortable seating, flat screen TVs and high speed wifi. Sliders open to a Caribbean Oceanfront Terrace with stunning views with seating area and afternoon shade.

The third level Penthouse/Owner's Suite boasts a fully stocked gourmet kitchen with a large side-by-side refrigerator with filtered water and ice maker, dishwasher, gas range with oven, built-in microwave hood vent and bar height island table with seating for 4 with incredible views of BOTH the Caribbean Sea AND the Bay of Cancun. The living area has a comfy window seat with Caribbean views that doubles as a day bed/sleeping area, a dual reclining sofa and a 50' Smart TV. The dreamy master bedroom has a comfy king bed, Smart TV, a desk and chair, luxurious full bathroom with a dual sink vanity and even a Caribbean view from the spacious walk-in shower. The second bedroom on the third floor has a queen bed, ensuite half bath plus a washer/dryer.

The whole house features pressurized water, a water softener and UV filtration system (great for the skin and safe to drink or cook with) with rain shower heads in all bathrooms. Complimentary bottled purified water is provided on levels and one and two, with reverse osmosis purified water on level 3. We used to live on level 3, but we've moved offsite.
