Onyx Room at Sacred Sands

Summary:

This architectural gem sits as a landmark one mile from the west entrance to Joshua Tree National Park. Commanding magnificent mountain views, it offers luxury lodging and event venue space that features both indoor and outdoor spaces, which will instantly connect you with the raw, Mojave desert landscape. You'll be wowed by the sunsets and overcome by the beauty of the night sky.



The Space:

Each guest will have their own private bedrooms with king beds, private bathroom with river rock spa showers, outdoor stargazing beds, private outdoor showers and cast iron tubs. Enjoy the sunset from your private outdoor space or our communal patio and great room.



Guest Access:

Guests have their own indoor and outdoor spaces but are welcome to enjoy the ceremony circle, gardens, sunset patio and great room.



The Neighborhood:

Sacred Sands is located in the Monument Manor neighborhood, at the gateway to Joshua Tree National Park. The eclectic neighborhood is home to artists, musicians and nature lovers who appreciate and value the proximity to raw nature. You will see jack rabbits, quail, maybe even a bobcat or coyote. It commands pristine views of the Morongo Basin. Located just 6 minutes from Joshua Tree Village where there are various restaurant options and shopping.



Getting Around:

We have numerous onsite parking spaces for all our guests. Generally speaking a car is needed to explore Joshua Tree. Public transit is sparse but there are local taxis.



Other Things to Note:

This is a pristine and quiet neighborhood at the gates of Joshua Tree National Park. Guests are asked to respect the tranquility of the space and to avoid creating excessive noise. There is a county wide 10p noise curfew we like to respect.



Unless you’re renting the venue for an event, this is not a party house. We allow one friend to visit per guest. They cannot spend the night. If there are guests in the other room, your friends must leave by 10p. If there are no other guests they must leave by midnight. Thank you for helping us protect this sacred place.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available if guests need anything or have questions, and we're very reachable via text message to answer any travel questions our guest might have, but we believe strongly in giving guests their privacy and personal space to enjoy the grounds.
