The hotel was well run with a super cozy environment with outstanding views. The staff was very friendly and responsive to our needs. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who visits Lake Placid!

Had a wonderful hotel stay. The staff was friendly. Dining room view is awesome. Only complaint is the limited hours of operation of the gym- closes at 9:30pm.

Great place to stay, very relaxing. Suggest the “lake view” rooms. The best place to view Mirror Lake from. Tons of places to sit and view from, including an amazing Great Room with a big patio and fire pit. 2 minute walk to town. The room and bed were great. Not a single complaint! Highly recommend. Oh, the food was fantastic, too!

The Crown plaza property inside the hotel needs to change the floor carpet, it looks old. The Manager of the front desk was kind of rude and had a attitude in talking, needs a lesson in customer service. The service staff was polite at front desk and breakfast.

Was expecting a more updated hotel. Rooms need more soundproofing. Public spaces very nice. Rooms a refresh with new chair height toilets. Paint is fresh and clean but was expecting better from a Crowne Plaza

Excellent stay!

Everything was top notch and clean (most importantly). Staff was helpful and friendly as well. The only thing I’d add is fresh baked cookies for guests as the other higher end hotels offer in lake placid. Great time, view is the best there is.

A beautiful mountain lodge style hotel. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Great beds. Liked 1st level opening onto grass fields & outdoor chairs. Restaurant was fantastic. Two good meals with spectacular view. Only glitch was a very unfriendly lady at check in. Felt like she was annoyed that we were taking up her time. Easy car parking. Loved it!
