The hotel has a front gate which gave some feeling of security. The hotel is very noisy with kids using the pool area screaming when we arrived in the evening. The front attendant was helpful however we booked two rooms, one had to be changed 3 times due the shower backing up and both reserved rooms were dirty. We were told the bar was open until 11pm and kitchen served to 10pm. Our first night the bar attendant was rude and irritated when we arrive at 9:45pm asking for food and was rude, I was embarrassed by the treatment we received. Worst experience I have ever had at this hotel or hotel any ever. The next night we went down for a late drink and was told the bar closes early if business is slow. Frankly it should not be advertised as having amenities the hotel cannot service. I thought possibly the poor experience maybe because I used Expedia to book and other previous bookings were made directly with the hotel. That being said i felt it was inexcusable and that the means of booking cannot explain the poor customer experience. This used to be my hotel of choice when in Montreal and recommending to others. Walls are so thin you can hear people beside you. I couldn’t sleep all night cause the couples beside me wanted to have some fun. The furniture is old, the pool area is falling apart everything is ghetto. The they need an entire renovation. Don’t stay here

Way too many noisy, misbehaved children running about, entering bar, dripping from pool, leaving wet foorprints on hall floor and in elevator. In one case we saw management ignore a parent who allowed toddlet to JUMP all over lobby furniture reoeatedly. Bartander was excellent and hard working, but bar needs longer hours qnd breakfast needs to be included for price
