Good location, but that’s it

The only good thing is the location, you are literally 1 minute from Times Square. Bad things: our first room didn’t have working ac, we called and someone went to check and he said that he would follow up very shortly, time went by and we had to call. they offered to change our rooms, but for more money. their only other solution was removing a room fee for one night ($45.00 aprox) and we were moved to another room the next day; and we were advised that our things were gonna be moved around noon, but we arrived to the hotel at 4:30 PM the next day and they were not. there is no water/ice dispenser. first time we went to a hotel and there was no water/ice dispenser. the rooms are so comically small but we did know that from previous reviews. also, the elevators are also comically small and they take absolutely forever. basically only 4 people fit in them and it’s only 2 elevators; but the thing that we realized is that if you want to use stairs instead you are unable to scan your access card to even use the stairs from the first floor. We also asked for a receipt at the end of the stay, they told us they would email. It’s now been over 3 hours and we haven’t received the email receipt.

The service was great! Maria was my first great impression of this hotel & she does her job well. She was very detailed & managed the line by herself. The cleanliness needs alot of help!! The facilities could use some updates (especially furniture wise, all the way to the filthy orange chairs in the lobby. Parking is expensive all over & we parked in Icon parking right next to the hotel ($190 for 2 days, no in/out privileges due to space) But we weighed our options in the area. OYO won: Price point, service, convenience, a great location right in the middle of times square!

The room was extremely small, but we were only there to sleep. Access to a mini fridge and microwave would’ve been convenient. I appreciated how we had fresh towels and bedding every day. It was frustrating how you could hear everybody in the hallway entering and exiting their rooms at all times. We also found the facilities fee to be a little ridiculous, considering it is not a luxury hotel by any means.

The rooms are shocking. Dark, dingy, cannot even open a suitcase it’s so small. The bed is basically a prison flat. It felt more like a cage in a dungeon. We immediately checked out. Nobody answers phones. STAY AWAY!! Went to the Lotte Palace for $100 more and were blown away with HUGE rooms and a true resort feel.

It’s Alright!

It’s alright, it’s not the worst but also not the best. The room is really tiny, also pretty sure I Paid for a queen bed not a full and the shower drain had a foul smell, I didn’t bother to ask to check on as I was there only to sleep, but it was strong enough to discuss me a bit. Aside from that it’s in a very great location and it is pet friendly. Staff are the greatest and have the best energy which makes up for its other flaws

Lackluster accommodations.

This is going to be brutally honest. I booked thru Hotels.com based off of the photos of the room. I will NEVER do that again. Here are the pros of staying at this hotel: - Location to Times Square. You can literally walk out the hotel and are less than a hundred feet from Times Square. - The front desk staff was great upon interaction. Cons: - The elevators are extremely small. 3 average sized people and small carryons will make the elevator full. This is no exaggeration at all. If you are claustrophobic, just don't. - The room. A standard two bed room looks like they threw two dorm beds in the room. There is no walk space between the bed and the wall. There were stains on the carpet and window shading. Beds felt like dorm room mattresses. Paint chipping on the walls and trim. This room was a big fat no! We stayed out of the room as much as possible because it was tight. - Bathroom towels are of thin quality. - Walls are thin. While the hotel boasts that they are a boutique hotel, the rooms definitely do not give that at all. The lobby will have you fooled. If you need something for a quick trip, it could work (only if you get one bed). This was my daughter's bday trip and i was very disappointed. I took pictures but of course Hotels.com app isnt allowing uploads.

Great hotel near everything in Times Square. The room was very small which was perfect for our one night stay. The elevators were very busy and needed a few minutes of patience. Serendipity 3 is attached to the hotel which was a great treat. The hotel held our bags after check out so we could walk around until we were ready to leave NYC.
