Almost Perfect Adorable Hotel

The staff are outstanding from the moment of arrival to the moment of departure. I really liked the aesthetics of the hotel and the bright airy lobby. The location is good near convenience stores, restaurants, subway station and so much more. The bathroom is a bit small and there's not much room for makeup, skin care, etc. The bed was very uncomfortable, same with the pillows. I wasn't happy with no coffee maker in the room, but luckily the hotel had one brought to my room. The electronics worked great including casting my YouTube app to the tv. The a/c worked great and my room was very quiet.

Very old hotel. Hotel was in need of refurbishing, however, rooms were cleaned daily. Terrible lighting in room. Walk in door less shower resulted in water all over the floor. Stupid idea! On the plus side, hotel is a short walk to Yorkville.

Beds are too soft. Sheets are all those flat sheets that end up moving and you end up sleeping on the mattress with a duvet with no sheet on it. Toilet seat not straight so you think you will break it everytime. No coffee machine, no kettle to make tea. They have coffee in lobby at 7am but you have to get dressed and go down for that. I like a tea before bed. A coffee sometimes at 6am. Shower is a dribble of hot cold hot cold. Overall, I was not impressed.

The property was nice. We loved the style and decor. The room was clean-ish. Aside from the bathroom grout needing to be scrubbed and a weird creamy white stain on the couch (that we covered with a towel), the room appeared to be clean. Nice restaurants and tons of shopping places about a 15minute walk in one direction. We had great meals in the area. Very close to Uni of Toronto. Staff was great. The attached restaurant was good too. We ate there for breakfast and had late night drinks at the bar. Would I stay here again? Maybe.

Very clean and luxury property, near by Casa Loma where we had the wedding of our kid. Most of our guests stay at your hotel and were very satisfied. Love the dark blue tone of the walls very elegant and calming. Will come again.

The building was old and the quality of services was questionable. There was no kettle in the room and we asked for one. It took the hotel 1 hour to deliver. In between, a housekeeping lady bumped into our room without knocking the door. The shower hose was fixed and the water was weak. The only positive was the breakfast. It was the best meal we had during our 3 day stay in Toronto.

Great location for attending our grandson’s graduation at U of T. Easy to get around with nearby subway and street cars. The room is clean, quiet and roomy. Highly recommended!
