The seaweed has made swimming undesirable and has a bad smell. I hope this situation clears up soon and has not hurt the beautiful water they once had.

This was our first resort stay and first time in Mexico so we don’t have much to compare it to. However, as a hotel worker I am pretty picky when it comes to service and the service here exceeded my expectations. The bell staff were especially amazing with bringing us to our rooms and taking our suitcase up the stairs to our room. The staff were extremely happy and always eager to please. We especially loved the team who leads the entertainment and many classes you can take during the day such as Spanish, Zumba. Salsa, etc. The nightlife was great with live music in the lobby bars, then a show at the theater, followed by dancing in the hacienda and the nightclub which opens at midnight. We didn’t have a single bad experience. The buffet food was suitable for our food allergies as well (vegetarian/vegan and gluten-free), although I wish there could’ve been more plain beans (without beef in them) for protein and other plant-based proteins as well would’ve been great. However, the restaurants were great at accomidating our needs. Overall, would definitely stay again!

Close to beach with good restaurants and good pools. Rooms are old and lots of problems. Shower leaked onto floor and air conditioning didn't work in 1 room. Tv reception poor and toilet didn't flush well in another. 3rd room had a family door so you could hear people talking and coughing at 4am in next room.

Great complex with many amenities. Excellent drinks and many bars around resort. I enjoy the entertainment shows every night. Easy access to the beach. Enjoy taking the transportation to coba resort and being able to use the pools there and the restaurants.

Great location, staff! not up to previous resorts

Rooms, bathrooms are average but my main complaint is NO bar services at pool-beach. No recreation room to just hang out. Live music over early. No place to really go after hours. Pools are nice and beach area despite the seaweed season is kept clean every day. You have to go up to a bar for drinks and lines were always long. Had a problem with one room and took many trips to check in desk to resolve, when I feel they should of fixed it without me having to come back so many times. Entertainment staff was espectacular and the shows at night were fabulous.

Well maintained grounds, rooms, and beaches.

Pros: Very clean with great beaches.
Cons: Maybe two bartenders at the pool bar or add a 2nd bar near the beach.
Great experience for a week. If you are a beach person (versus pool) then this is your best choice for a resort in the area. Too many resorts do not have enough beach area and/or palapas (beach huts). I think the total property (there are 4 resorts on the property) beach is probably a mile long and there are plenty of the palapas. Don't get me wrong they have pools, all of which are fine but I'm a beach person and that is why I return here over and over. And they work hard to keep the beach clean (lots of seaweed washes in every day). The resort staff keeps everything clean and neat. The grounds, rooms, and common areas are always great. The food is good for buffet style. If you get something you don't like, go back. The only comment on food is I would like more veggies. One example of great staff: The toilet in my room did not flush well. It was obvious that it was an old and very poor toilet. I went to the front desk after two days of calling for the plunger guy and asked to move to another room. The promised me they would take care of the problem the next day and they did. They actually replaced the toilet with one that flushed well. That's great service! And do NOT feed the animals. They are cute but should not be feed people food. If you must feed them, bring some clean (unsalted) nuts (I bring fresh pecans).

No service and noisy rooms; great food.

Pros: The landscaping, cleanliness and food. Also, the availability to book tours. I also liked the colorfulness of the hotel (hacienda style).
Cons: The service. There is no pool or food service and long lines to get anything. Also, the activities are very regulated. Need more staff at restaurants.
Location: We did 3 tours, all great. Outdoor adventure tour (polaris, cenote, rapel and zipline) and also the Tulum Ruins with snorkeling and Chichen Itza. :)
The grounds are beautiful and the rooms are clean. There is no noise filter between the rooms. You can hear everything in the room next door and above you. Too many people in the resorts for the 3 pools. Could barely get a lounge chair by the pool or by the beach. Food was very good and a wide variety of dishes, but one night, we couldn't get a table anywhere, not even the buffet until 10 pm. Restraunt and Bar service was terrible. Waiters are not friendly and the Hotel is understaffed; pool bartenders are overworked. They do not take orders by the pool or the beach; you have to stand in line for drinks that they serve in little plastic cups. If you come here, take a Yeti cup so you don't have to make so many trips to the bar even for water. At dinner, water was scarce, you had to beg the waiter for water refills or refills of any type. The a la Carte restaurant Tekila was good. This hotel is not considered cheap, so these things are surprising when you get here. We had requested a king size bed and got two twins instead...and the water in the shower goes from hot to scalding, be careful. Also, too many rules about activities - you can only do them during certain hours, and there are lines and the entertainment is very short, Karaoke for one hour, for example. The beach is OK, pretty colors but lots of rocks and algae.
