Very Serious Saftey Hazard

We smelled gas in the apartment on the first day of arriving when my wife used the washer and Dryer. And again on the second day. I discovered that the gas dryer vent line was exhasting into a bucket behind the washing machine inside the apartment posesing a serious safety hazard and carbon monoxide poisoning. Also the fire hazard behind the dryer and washer was extreme due to all the lint collected. The whole family was feeling the allergies from this in the air. The Property manager put me in contact with the the owner of the aprtment who claimed this was legal practice in Mexico and was being done in the whole apartment complex because there was no outside venting available becasue of the way the apartment was designed. The owner was very rude about the whole situation.. We were forced to leave for our own saftey without him offering any restitution. The property manager was very sympathetic to the situation and understood the danger as I have a Long maintenance background and explained it to him.

Spacious apartment in heart of Cancun

The apartment is spacious and clean. The view from the balcony, living room and bedrooms is beautiful. Each room has a TV with Netflix which was great for teenagers and adults. The grounds are gated and well kept. The host is very responsive and thoughtful.

Luxury Home Away from Home

This condo offers everything except swimsuits.The apartment is spacious, nicely decorated, well equipped [The apartment has its own Netflix account, so there's no danger of guests forgetting to remove their accounts when they leave.], and in an excellent location. There's more than enough electrical outlets, the WiFi was strong throughout the apartment, and the televisions were big and boosted by an excellent sound bar. The kitchen even boasts a high-quality air fryer.The hosts were quick to answer questions before and during my stay. Mario even took us to the airport. There was a small problem with the stove. Jose texted advice, but then he and Mario came by an hour later to personally check on it. Even the condo staff were helpful.The swimming pool and other facilities were beautiful.The condo is within two blocks of restaurants and grocery stores in a safe area full of interesting architecture.Because of my preference for the safety and ease of hotels, I had never used VRBO. My inability to find a hotel in downtown Cancun with toilets that flushed toilet paper led me to this amazing guest experience.This condo was managed, appointed and located very well.

Great neighborhood, lovely patio, decent amenities

There are lots of wonderful things about this property and a few things that keep it from a full 5 star review.Pros: Quiet neighborhood with easy convenient access to dining options/pharmacy within a short walk. Quick uber rides to literally anything else you could need. We really hated to Spring Break all out, crowded, noisy vibe of the Hotel Zone and were exceedingly thankful for our lovely little condo to return to every day.Nice layout. My favorite place was the outdoor patio/balcony with a great view.Very responsive staff! Anytime we had an issue, we had no problems getting in touch and getting the issues resolved quickly and conveniently. We also appreciated their flexibility in arriving and leaving. Keep in mind though that goes both ways. We had to wait a little bit longer to get in to the unit but they had allowed us to leave our bags so we were relaxing in the cafe down the street. They also allowed my daughter to stay a little longer due to a late flight.I think overall the unit is appropriately priced. It's a good value but not perfect. If perfection is what you're looking for, you'll want to keep looking (& raise your budget).Things to be aware of: Unit was very clean but needed small maintenance items.Biggest issue: ONLY when it's VERY windy the windows HOWL if any window or door is even slightly open. Once they are all shut there is still a whine but ear plugs took care of that.Tiny issue: no shampoo as stated in listing, easily solved

Cancun golfing trip

VRBO was nice. Hot water tank kept going out but when called response to resolve was good. Hot water tank is very small. Could use more cooking pots. There was no toaster, or proper garbage bags or recyclables bags or dish detergent. No tv in living room although one was being installed while we were there. Was a bit disruptive with people coming to install tvs. They were never completely installed. Was compensated with a bottle of tequila which was a nice jester. We would rent this place again.

The host was amazing.

We were actually staying in Cozumel, but a hurricane forced us to find another place to stay last minute. We were able to rent this place in Cancun and the Host was extremely accomodating to our situation of having to check in early and we were so grateful. The place was clean and decorated nicely. It is an older apartment on the 6th floor, but had air conditioning that worked nicely, and had a nice view and a nice deck that let in lots of light. There were 7 of us that stayed in this 3 bedroom apartment with 2 queens, 2 twins and 2 sofa beds. One of my children decided not to use the sofa beds as they seemed pretty worn, but he found the couch comfortable with the sheets they provided. The kitchen is small, but we had enough dishes and what we needed to take care of meals and the drinking water is provided. We were grateful to use the washer and dryer and they worked great. We used the Air Fryer and oven and microwave and everything worked great. It was nice to have 2.5 bathrooms since we had a big group. The shower heads did not have the best water flow but that was really only a concern for the 4 of us women who have long thick hair. The security workers at the apartment complex were very attentive and we felt safe staying here. We were given wrist bands to use the secured parking area. We did not use the swimming pools while we were there, but the photos looked nicer than the actual pools. We would recommend this place!

The place was really nice. It was clean and functional. Check-in and check-out were very easy. The pools were wonderful. I would definitely stay her again. Two suggestions: turn on the air conditioners a couple of hours before the guests arrive because it took a long time to cool the whole place and the tv would serve a better purpose if it were on n the living room so everyone can enjoy it.

amazing location huge home and clean

location was amazing from what i understood it is one of the safest and more upscale neighborhoods in Cancun. house is huge and very clean . nothing was missing we cooked breakfast every morning ,... never missed hot water . communication was instant as we had an issue with the dryer and it was fixed within hours . Jose was always available and the host maria very helpful. internet was super fast as we both needed to work from here logged into server in Canada. thank u and will stay again
