Your Quiet Lakehouse Getaway

Our pet-free lakehouse is located 40 minutes to Glacier National Park, 15 minutes to Flathead Lake and 15 minutes to Kalispell, a great central location for visiting all the Flathead Valley has to offer.

It has three bedrooms, two and a half baths and is located on the shores of a crystal clear lake with great fishing. With its beautiful mountain views, this private hideaway is perfect for larger gatherings or romantic getaways. Paddle boat, fire ring, swingset, and multiple decks add to the fun!

Great break from busy hotels
We had a one day gap in our lodging and found this place. It was perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Good location but cleanliness was definitely lacking!
We appreciate Laura's helpfulness in getting access to the canoe. We enjoyed the well-supplied kitchen along with plenty of paper products. The main floor and upstairs was well-kept and clean, except for the mouse droppings all over the cupboard below the kitchen sink. This was disgusting! The downstairs seemed like it had not been cleaned in several months. There were cobwebs in several places across the ceiling and covered one of the smoke detectors. The downstairs bathroom had a floor that was unclean, a rusty bathtub, and a shower curtain that needed to be replaced. There were dustballs, leftover candy wrappers, straw wrappers, and drink lids scattered across the floor downstairs. The linens on the downstairs bed were so old that pill balls were all over the sheets and the comforter had not been cleaned. There were what appeared to be blood stains on the pillow covers. We were unable to enjoy the outdoor eating areas because the tables and chairs had been covered with debris from the trees. This house is advertised as having air conditioning, which it does not. There is one portable unit, which is actually not portable, for the entire house.

Deer Heaven!
This home provides privacy but close to town and Glacier Mountain Park. We enjoyed waking up to many deer in the yard and in the evening they would stroll to the water for a drink.

Great location on a cute little lake
We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Bass Lake House. Great, quiet location on a wonderful little lake. The kids loved splashing in the water and playing on the swing-set. Communication with the owner was great. The house was super cute, but could use a good cleaning, in my opinion. Also, it is listed as three bedrooms, but one of the rooms is more an open room in the basement. This normally wouldn't be an issue, but with little kids who don't sleep great, not having a door to a room (and having to go through that room to get to another bedroom) is tricky. Overall, great stay, though! Thanks for hosting us.

Fall getaway at Glacier National Park
Loved the property. It's located about 40 minutes south of Glacier National Park and perhaps a little closer to Flathead Lake, so centrally between our 2 points of interest. You have a paddle boat and canoe on the quiet lake which is a nice relaxing touch. Gas grill. Fire pit but no fires during the drought. Wifi was good but you might consider bringing a bluetooth speaker and some games for the evening hours. There is a bedroom on the 2nd floor and 1 in the basement with the main floor separating them, which is nice. Watch for deer on the highways! We nearly hit 2. They are everywhere.

Lovely Secluded Getaway
My family and I rented this home for our Flathead Valley vacation. We were about 20 mins from Kalispell, Big Fork, and Columbia Falls. We truly enjoyed the option of exterior and interior dining in the summer. The lake was perfect for the provided pedal boat and canoe. We spent every evening swimming. The master bedroom has a king sized bed which was a pleasant surprise. This home has everything you need to prepare your own meals. The internet was fast enough to run multiple small devices. The hosts are amazing at communicating! You won't regret staying here!

AH-MA-ZING!!!
From the beginning, Laura has been an amazing host: good communication and always willing to help. The place was just amazing! Very quiet and clean. At the time we were not fortunate enough to enjoy the fire pit outside due to the restriction by the county but I'd imagine it being an amazing experience at Laura's lake house. We were able to witness some deers pass by on the day we left. Highly recommended!!

Girls weekend
The lake house stay was a great experience. We had plenty of room for all 7guests. The room set up was so nice and the main level made for a great congregation area for conversation, making plans and meals. We would all definitely stay again! Thank you so much Laura!

Good location but needs a deep clean
This is a great property for its location on a lake, but it was not clean. We had to wash all of the dishes before using them and everything was dusty and felt slightly dirty. It felt like we were staying at an elderly person's house who had not been able to clean for a long time, rather than a house where we had paid a significant rate plus cleaning fee to stay there. I asked the owner for a refund of the cleaning fee, and she said she would only refund depending on how long the cleaning crew spent in the house after we left. We left the house very tidy, in fact in better shape than we found it, but the owner did not respond to my request for the refund.
