Unnecessarily overpriced., they nickel and dime you like you are flying Spirit Airlines or Frontier.. $11 for faster wifi, $45 for parking.. after we paid upwards of $1000/night for a lakeview room, we didn’t want to be nickle dimed for everything, just charge me $1100 instead and skip the add ons.. otherwise hotel could use major renovations.. everything outdated and old If you must have accommodations on lake louise, this is ONLY option and hotel for sure abuses this privilege.. But I WILL NOT RETURN

Room is clean, staff are very helpful, explain all the details around Lake Louise. But restaurants are over rated, windows seat are limited, suggest to reserve in advance.

I took roam transit from Banff to Lake Louise which was then a short walk to the hotel. For about an additional $80 I upgraded to a room with a view of the lake which was worth it. I had dinner at the Fairview restaurant and the food-beet salad and fish were delicious. At check out I let staff know that the vent was unusually loud but other then that a stay at the hotel is highly recommended!

Our checkin experience left much to be desired...we arrived early 3pm never heard anything from the front desk , Garry in articular until I went down and inquired at 4:10pm . Then suddenly a room was ready and when we got up stairs our luggage was already there...so either bell hop service knew our room was ready earlier than we did or they were very very fast in dropping off luggage. Room was lovely, location as well. dinner in the lounge was nice altho the waiter forgot to bring soup we had ordered, once our meals arrive no point in the soup. Just some sloppy things and I have yet to receive my final bill again upon checkout they said they would email the bill , checked my email but nothing as arrived. Training new person perhaps that was an issue. Alot of money was spent for 1 night and do wish the service had been better.

Decent hotel but do not expect what you pay for

We were expecting a hotel that costs $1.3k per night but the hotel is just a regular hotel. Check-in was difficult, the staff basically forgot about us and we had to remind them 4:30pm that they forgot about us

Fantastic property. Rooms were very clean and nice. Staff were all friendly and knowledgeable. Lake Louise was still mostly frozen when we were there the first week of May but it is such a beautiful place that it didn't matter if the lake was still frozen. Food in the restaurants are so good. I have always wanted to come to Lake Louise and stay at the Fairmont and I'm so glad that my wife and I did. We're planning to go back in September with my whole family, I'm not sure if I can afford 3 rooms but we'll see. The Fairmont Lake Louise is definitely a 10 plus and a must try.
