Our double queen beds were on a trendy raised platform. Partly because the mattresses were so thick, which was a great, it made them so tall that getting into bed was difficult. The room appeared originally set up for a king because there was very little space between the bed frame closest to the bathroom and the dresser that held the bedroom tv. If you weren’t careful you would either stub your toe, or bang your shins on the frame while exiting the ensuite bathroom door. From an accessibility standpoint there was an issue. The beds were far too high to sit on while dressing, and the thought of all the use the sofa or chair got for that purpose without a washable cover on them was a bit concerning. We did get there after dark, so lighting was limited, but finding the lamp switches (often dark brown on a dark surface) for the VERY limited lighting in the room was a real challenge. It took me 5 minutes of searching to find the bedside light switches. This could have been alleviated by an overhead light in each room that could be turned off once they were found, or having them already on. The “trendy barn doors” were just decoration unless you were hosting other people and wanted to hide your bed. The trendy desk was so tall and the trendy chairs for it so low, it made me wonder how tall their interior designer was! Completely unusable as a real desk- you would have to do any computing on the coffee table instead. Please think of function more than form.

The hotel's room were species. The noise in the room was so loud that we could not sleep. The room was changed the next day. The stay was not pleasant compare how much was one night in the hotel.
