Conveniently located in Downtown Montreal. Short walking distance to Metro, Cathedral of Notre Dame, Old Montreal and Port of Montreal. Staff were helpful, considerate and professional. Construction was going on right across the street, but we were given a room in the back of hotel building so we never were disturbed. Breakfast was continental style with healthy options. I am pleased I chose to stay at Hotel Le Dauphin Montreal. Thank you to staff for their assistance and kindness.

large rooms, courteous staff, good breakfast. The Dauphin is located next to the Montreal underground and a Metro station. It is a pretty easy walk to historic Montreal. A good choice for seeing the city.

Nice hotel close to everything

Pros: Very recently updated. Two bottles of water provided daily. Comfortable bed and beautifully decorated room.
Cons: None
Location: Close to almost everything that we wanted to see in two days.
Nice hotel close to Old Montreal and Chinatown. Very comfortable rooms and free excellent continental breakfast daily. We drove from Quebec City so the car was parked overnight at the Convention Center about a block away. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Nice hotel. Presently near new construction.

Pros: Rooms were nice. Near old Montreal.
Cons: Wait for construction to end to be much nicer.
Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice, even thought they faced out on new construction. Roads were congested due to construction. Though parking was a couple blocks away, it was nice and secure by convention center and a nice place to park as we toured the city.

We booked this hotel online after reading the reviews. We were pleasantly surprised to find the hotel was exactly what we expected based on the reviews we read. It was an exceptional value. Our room was very comfortable and the bed and bedding were exceptional. The room was made up each day. Breakfast was included each day of our stay. We encountered a small problem on our day of departure. My husband left his wallet in the room. We called the hotel and a staff member went to our room and found his wallet. We returned to the hotel to retrieve the wallet and everything was there. The hotel was centrally located to all sightseeing locations. We would highly recommend this family owned hotel for your stay in Montreal.

Truly worth the visit!

Pros: Location, cleanliness, hospitable staff, and did I mention breakfast?
Cons: It took a day to figure out that that left facing controls in the shower turned on the water and the right facing controls was for temperature.
Location: Great location - near the beautiful buildings of Old Montreal and the Seaport filled with cruise options. There is a great IMAX theater nearby.
Appear to be a recently renovated modern design hotel. The hotel was very centrally located for our interests - Old City, St. Joseph's Oratory, McGill University and the Seaport. Wide variety of restaurants within walking distance of hotel. Speaking of eating, breakfast was varied and plentiful. Public transit via bus or underground Metro was very close-by; so if you drive, leave your car at nearby off premise venue until you are ready to leave. Whether a couple getting away for a few days or families with kids there is something here for you. There is a gym and outdoor pool with a fine vie host Day One of the International Fireworks competition from our room window. Internet access is provided by in-room Apple computers and Apple TV. Would have enjoyed a few more tv channel options. We hope to return to Montreal and will make this venue our base. Merci!

The best Montreal hotel.

Pros: Quiet, clean, helpful-knowledgeable staff. Excellent location.
We loved this hotel! The staff was wonderful. The room was large & met all our needs. The staff provided us with a list of nearby restaurants. We ate at the Orange Rouge in Chinatown. The meal was out of this world!

Nice hotel but rooms need more furniture.

Pros: It was really clean.
Cons: The rooms need more furniture.
This is a nice clean new hotel. Every room has an iMac. But the rooms need more furniture. Our room has just two small chairs, like porch chairs for sitting outside, and a small table. There was no place to sit and unwind, unless you laid on the bed. We paid $159 US for the room, and it was a good value, but if you want more to the rooms than a bed and two small chairs, look elsewhere. Staff was very nice and accommodating. We bought a bottle of wine from the hotel and tried to drink it in the lobby, where there are couches, but that isn't allowed because of some law, and we had to drink it in the business center instead. A bit odd. Anyway, a good value for $159.
