The hotel was pretty clean. The room was quiet, we were on the 3rd floor. The AC really didn’t get the room cool, thank goodness there was a fan in the room. There was no where to store clothes. There was not a dresser or closet. I would stay again but not during the hot time of summer for fear of the AC not cooling the room.

Great location and staff was amazing. Wish they haf an on-site restaurant/ bar but it appears they are working on that. Thus will be my go to place to stay when in NY. Could ise more storage for clothing.

It has potential for greatness. Know that the property has been struggling to get air/hear replaced for some time now. When I first arrived to check-in, I was informed that the entire building didn't have air and wouldn't during my two night stay. Thankfully, Christina, the manager, found a room (246) that had air and that was great. Excellent location. Friendly staff. Easy to move around. All that's good but... This is a no frills place. No restaurants. No closet in the room. No cups in the room even, nor a safe (for belongings). Comfortable bed and very clean. It has potential.

Value for the $$

For the price, this hotel did OK. It was clean, very nice bathroom although shower amenities were small. Issues with both TV’s in the room- one did not turn on at all and the other only worked on an Amazon Firestick, so no access to Live tv for news or sports unless you logged into your own live stream account. Also- AC was sketchy. Didn’t work at all in bedroom. The living room worked sporadically. We ended up opening a window. We were on 3rd floor and it was not too noisy.

AC broken - Not Clean

AC is broken, lots of bugs in the room. The bathroom floor is very dirty, and lots of flies. The pillows had an intense aroma typical of Indian cuisine, as if someone had slept there very recently. Also there are bus lanes directly outside the hotel so my Uber received a ticket for crossing into the bus lane.

The AC unit in the entire property, including rooms, did not work throughout the whole stay. The weather those nights was hot and humid, making the experience very unpleasant. The Front Desk staff told me that only the Manager was able to provide any type of refund, but I was never able to see her any of the times I came over. They provided her email address and I sent her an email requesting a refund the day after checkout. I still haven't heard back from her. Very disappointed, very unhappy with the situation.

Not bad for the city

Close to many sights; easy to get around. We had dirty sheets when we checked in. But they did get us new ones. First floor room was close to the street noise. Heard the cars and honking all night.

Please do not stay at this hotel, believe the negative reviews. Biggest Complaint: No AIR CONDITIONING. My first time in the room, I noticed the room was warm and turned on the air. Upon revisiting the room, the temperature never lowered. I notified the front desk and they did not care. After hearing from others in the hotel about their AC not working, I followed up with front desk who said, "Yeah they are fixing it." I can be understanding and patient, but after the 3 nights of my stay, it was never fixed. The week became hotter and so did the room. It made it unable to sleep. Who knows, how long it was "broke" before I arrived. Room Quality: The hotel itself is so run down, its probably why they try to keep it so dark so you can't see the issues. A lot of the basic things in a hotel room were worn-out or filmsy. Definitely not worth the money. Customer Service: Starting with the front desk when checking in, no one came to help 10 minutes. All the workers were very nonchalant the entire stay when you had a question. It was mostly someone just sitting on their phone who couldn't answer a question. When asking for someone to follow up on the issue, they asked me to email them but then they couldn't find an email address and to come back later. Overall not professional. Hotel Location: Not a great location. No good food spots nearby. Still a far walk from everywhere, so you are better off staying closer to the central part of the city.
