The hotel was lovely, the lobby spacious with great options to visit, have a drink or food. The room was tiny, if you were a big/tall person you would have a hard time with the bathroom and shower. Though finishes in both were well done. The room had no place to sit but the bed & I booked a Queen size bed & we got a full size bed. Location & staff made up for the room size - almost.

Motto by Hilton New York City Times Square exceeded my expectations in every way. The hotel’s sleek, modern design and central location made my stay both comfortable and convenient. Despite being in the heart of Times Square, the atmosphere inside was calm and relaxing. The staff provided exceptional service, friendly, attentive, and professional from check-in to checkout. My room was thoughtfully designed, maximizing space without sacrificing comfort. The bed was comfortable. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, Motto by Hilton is an excellent choice.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely the Best Hotel in Times Square! We travel to NYC frequently — at least 20 times a year — and always stay in the Times Square area, usually keeping our budget under $500 per night. This was our first stay at the Motto by Hilton Times Square, and I can confidently say it was by far the best hotel experience I’ve ever had in the city. From the moment I walked into the lobby, the atmosphere felt calm, peaceful, and beautifully designed. The lighting was soft and modern, and the overall vibe was so relaxing — such a rare find in the middle of Times Square! The staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Usually, when you check into hotels in this area, it’s chaos — long elevator lines, overwhelmed staff, and rushed interactions. Not here! I waited only a short time at check-in (with just one person ahead of me during peak check-in hours), and the front desk agent still apologized for the “wait.” I actually laughed out loud because it was the easiest, most pleasant check-in I’ve ever had! He was friendly, professional, and personable — even thanked me for being a Hilton member and made sure to add my number to the booking because we booked through hotels.com. Every single employee we encountered, from housekeeping to those in the hallways and elevators, greeted us with a smile and made us feel truly welcome. I typically stay at Marriott properties since we’re owners there, but this experience completely won me over — Motto will absolutely be my first

The staff were nice enough but quite remote, cleanliness was great all around, the design is superb, very comfortable room, but the air conditioning was terrible (super hot, can’t get lower than 19c and it felt like 25. One more day with it and I might’ve actually gotten sick). All and all, this is a normal experience for the price I paid.

Pro: Great location if you want to stay in Time Square. Close to 3 subway lines and walkable to main attractions. Staff was friendly and security always at front door - felt safe. Early check in was a major plus! Con: Was not aware the standard room is a murphy bed. Extremely soft worn-in mattress that dipped in the middle. Did not sleep well and woke up sore. The layout of the room is not great. Had a desk but wouldn’t fit chair in front of it. Shower head was position where water would spray right in your face and all over the room before trying to close the shower door. The cleaners kept the laundry bin with clean/dirty towels right at my door during the whole stay. For this price, I would stay at another hotel in the area.

It’s clean and the staff is nice but the beds are very uncomfortable. They are Murphy beds and they are small. I’m 5’8 and my feet hung off the bed. The frames of the beds are very prominent.

It was the smallest hotel room I've ever been in. They made very good use of the space but there was nowhere to sit in the room except on the bed. The toilet area was similar in size to being in an airplane. The shower only shoots out toward the outside so you can't turn it on to warm up the water before you go in. Then while I was showering, the water started leaking out of the shower and into the toilet area leaving a pool of water on the floor. The next morning while we were trying to relax the fire alarm went off which wouldn't have been a big deal but when we were checking in, the receptionist moved us from the 5th floor to the 30th floor for some reason. It turned out the fire alarm was a false warning which was good so we didn't have to vacate the premises down the stairs with all our luggage but annoying to that go off in the morning. We will not be going to this hotel again.

The AC unit in the room was very load when it came on, it was hard to sleep. One of the front desk male staff wasn't customer service friendly. Everything else was fine for a last minute stay.
