Very disappointing

Pros: View of the Niagara
Cons: Air conditioning, add refrigerators to rooms, fix phones, fix doors so they open without using brute force.
Location: Great location close to Niagara Falls, and Fort Niagara
The first room had the locks duct taped over so we had to change. This change gave us a room with a door that was nearly impossible to open and air conditioning that did not work. When we attempted to eat at the restaurant we stood around (while wait staff sat at the bar) for 10 minutes were finally seated and left 10 minutes later when no one had bothered to even ask for a drink order. There were Never any dry towels at the pool. All in all very disappointing for a Radisson Hotel.

Everything was wonderful. I rated the condition of the hotel a little lower only because there were some renovations being done during our stay.

Nice and quiet place

Nice staff and very helpful, there were signs saying excuse our dust due to repaired being done, I never once saw anyone working on anything except a light fixture by the front door, so is this just an excuse for the place being dirty , hallways had things torn up and laying places. Our room was nice, but the rest of the hotel wasn't impressive, nice clean pool area.

Staff was excellent! Room acceptable

Pros: view. friendliness of staff.
Cons: interiors
Location: Close to Niagara falls and right on the river.
The staff of this hotel were extremely friendly, even though i pulled in around midnight. They went out of their way to make me feel like a valued customer. the room itself had a great view (when I woke in the morning), but the interior of the room itself was dated and looked like the few renovations that had taken place were halfway measures. If you are just looking for a place to stay, definitely try this hotel. if you want a little style and shine for your money, you may be disappointed.

Well, when we booked this room we thought, hmmm, Radisson, probably won't be too bad. Famous last words. Upon pulling up to this rather run down, tired and kinda yucky looking property we immediately noticed that the Radisson sign was nothing more than a banner hung over one of the balconies covering the sign of the former property name. Newly acquired, most likely...updated and newly renovated....definitely not. While the location was not bad, the hotel itself was pretty gross. Our room was located at the end of a long halfway in the basement. The smell of this long corridor was enough to stop you in your tracks. It was as if the dirty carpet under our feet had suffered years of smoke, water damage and general abuse, and rather than replace it, they decided to go absolutely nuts with that potpourri powder that gets left to sit and then vacuumed up. The odor was unbearable. The room was the same. Tired, outdated and just generally pretty dismal. I would expect this from cheap motor inn. But not at a name brand establishment.

Dear Jessica, Thank you for sharing your comments with us after your recent Niagara trip. Please accept my apologies for the condition of your ground floor room and the exterior. Almost great

The facilities are impressive, but not as clean or up to date as would be desirable. The location is an easy drive of about 15 minutes to the American falls. Room was fine, but dated and could have been cleaner, however the linens and bathroom were fine. The indoor pool is massive and the gym well above average size for a hotel, but both pools could have been cleaner. With some TLC it could be a first rate property. The desk staff were very professional. Would consider this location for a future stay

Tired Property

Pros: The staff as very pleasant and helpful.
Cons: Needs a major renovation.
Great location but very tired property. Needs a lot of investment to be worth what I paid per night.

Dear Anonymous Traveler Thank you for sharing your comments with us after your recent trip to Niagara Falls. I am glad that my staff was able to be so helpful during your visit. We are indeed an older property with renovation planned for this Fall and we try to price our accommodations significantly lower than the Falls to reflect the age of our rooms. I do hope you will consider us again on your next trip tot he Falls. Cordially Scott Swagler GM
