This charming cottage is located just outside of Chattanooga, Tennessee with beautiful views of Lake Kathy.

This cute cottage offers one bedroom, one bath and a washer and dryer. All dishes and linens are provided!

You have access to lake Kathy just across the street. This lake does not allow motorized boats or swimming but you can fish! Make sure to bring your own fishing gear.

The rocking chair front porch is perfect for morning coffee while listening to the birds. Also the dining room table is in a bay window and you can see the water from there as well.

Check in is at 4:00 p.m. and check out is at 11:00 a.m..

Nice place

We had a great stay. Literally on the water. Place was comfortable, clean, and well-equipped. Communication with the owners was great and they responded pretty quickly. Only had one issue. We had a small problem with ants but by keeping stuff off of the shelves, that was mitigated.

Light, airy cottage with a well stocked kitchen. Wish I could've spent more daylight hours here. Love the cornerstone inscription at the southwest corner of the cottage! Recommend some window covering option in kitchen and dining area however porch and front lighting was enough to walk around inside. Didn't get any wifi instructions or response about it; popular news channel was locked and did not get resolved during my stay "roku TV". Overall it was a great place.

Great Getaway

My wife and I needed some time away. We live in the Nashville area and wanted a spur of the moment getaway for just the two of us. Wow, what a great place to get away. We got a late start on Friday; so when we arrived, the lights were on in our cottage and a thoughtful gift from the owner awaited us. The cottage was clean and inviting...so comfortable. I suppose the best thing we can say about our stay is that we will return and encourage our friends and family to stay there as well. We're already checking our calendar for our next visit.

Rural setting near the big city

We wanted to visit the Tennessee Aquarium and the Chickamauga Battlefield, but didn't want to stay downtown or just any old 3-star hotel outside of town. Lakeview Cottage was just perfect. The property was spotless inside and appeared to have been just finished, or perhaps remodeled. The large front porch is a great place for morning coffee and enjoying the lake and the wildlife (LOTS of geese). Should we visit this area again, we'll definitely look to see whether Lakeview Cottage is available again.

Nice quiet getaway

Me and my husband went here for a anniversary weekend getaway. It was very nice and quiet. The house itself is so nicely decorated and very clean. There are geese all throughout the neighborhood and me and my husband loved them! The geese act as if they own the place but it’s very cute and funny. We did not get to enjoy fishing at the lake as we wanted to but it was a bit cold while we were there and we ran out of time since we didn’t stay long. The view was pretty though. The neighborhood was a little more crowded then I thought it was going to be but everyone kept to themselves and we had a very nice time!

Beautiful Quaint Cottage
