Room: ⭐️ Staff: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Amenities: ⭐️⭐️ Overall: ⭐️⭐️ This property is a low-tier 3-star hotel masquerading as a 4-star destination. It is dated, rundown, and "half-renovated" at best. I am beyond disappointed and will never stay at another Hyatt property again. Major Issues: Dilapidated Rooms: Our suites were dingy and deteriorated, covered in scuffs, stains, and scratches. Bathrooms are unrenovated, featuring rust, mold, and erratic shower temperatures. Infrastructure Failure: We were checked into a room with broken heating on a freezing December night. After calling the front desk THREE TIMES, they finally sent someone to come look. The engineer admitted "broken coils" are a widespread building issue. We ended up having to move rooms. Missing Amenities: No robes, slippers, or mini-bars. The "upscale" facilities are actually just a modest gym and a pool with a mediocre restaurant. Poor Service & Hygiene: I had to ask the front desk daily for basic housekeeping. To make matters worse, the sink water was a cloudy white. Staff: The staff provided good service. Their hands are tied with the building they were given obviously, but what would’ve been a one-star review is two stars just because the staff earned back a full star on their own. Josh, the guest services manager, tried to make things better (as much as he could) with room changes and a free breakfast. Overall, I would say skip this hotel if you’re in Boston, and skip Hyatt generally.

Hotel restaurant is average but with fair pricing for what you get. I found common areas were chilly but the warm staff made up for it. Beds are too firm…not the Hyatt bed I remember from 2007.
