They say they have around 10 all-inclusive restaurants but, it is very difficult to get reservations at 9 of them. We tried the day we arrived, and they are always booked. Just the cafeteria which is first come; first serve was available at dinner. Some nights the line at the cafeteria was soo long, your food would be cold by the time you got through the buffet. Alcohol is included but it is so low in alcohol, drinking wasn't worth the calories! For some reason, for an 8 night stay we were never given a second bar of soap for the bathroom, the drinking glass was never cleaned and the coffee pod I used was never replaced. Guests would show up at 6am and reserve all the lounge chairs at the beach and pool so there were no seats available. Some of the people would not come sit in the seats until late afternoon so the seats sat empty. I do not understand why they would allow that. If they had an attendant there to say that you cannot put a book and towel on a chair and leave for 6 hours, that would have been a huge help. The wait staff were very good. Too bad they can't train the cleaning staff. The ice machine on my floor was broken (although there was no sign to indicate this).

I wish I had listened to the other poor reviews, but somehow convinced myself How bad could it be? Well if you like to vacation with dozens of babies and toddlers cramped in a very small space, this is the resort for you! In the first 5 minutes of arrival we were harassed into sitting thru a travel plan presentation which they didn’t mention until the very end. The food was decent overall and most of the staff were friendly. This is not a resort first of all, it is an overcrowded, overbooked hotel. Finding a chair by the pool or the beach was a struggle each day. And then there’s the entertainment. Very little of it and most things are cancelled and they don’t tell you. The music at the pool is 70s and 80s easy listening played over blown out speakers from 11-5 pm. The theater audio is so bad it’s embarrassing. Any RIU, Palladium, Barcelo, Iberostar resort blows this hotel out of the water for the same price.

Once again, we had a fantastic trip to the FAC. My wife and I have been there around a dozen times. We are not a member of a club or anything, we just love this place that much. We've been to many different places over the years, but this is the place we always keep coming back to. We brought our kids for their Christmas gift and they loved it too. The food options, the service and the beach are absolutely wonderful. My wife always gets a massage or two on the beach. There are so many great people on staff, Eligio always made sure we were being taken care of. JJ, of course, is wonderful. I was passing through a restaurant when he saw me and gave me a fist bump and a hug as it had been almost a year since the last time I had seen him. The breakfast is always my favorite with the homemade quesadillas, but fish and shrimp tacos by the beach are right up there too. There is no shortage of good food and drink. We are headed back in a couple weeks with some friends and I can't wait!

This was the second time staying at this property. The first time was last year and it was so amazing that we came back again to enjoy the July 4th holiday. We were greeted at the shuttle and escorted to the VIP check in and our room was ready well before the 3pm check in time. Paola was efficient and kind and we were checked in quickly. We had a bottom floor room with a plunge pool and patio with lounge chairs and a table. We enjoyed this room even more than the ocean view from last year because of its location to everything and not having to use the elevator. The food was amazing as always! Highly recommend the taco restaurant, no reservations needed, and the Al Pastor tacos were delicious! We ate at all the restaurants and really enjoyed the new Thai restaurant. The fried ice cream there was THE BOMB! The entertainment at the below pool and beach kept my teenagers busy and happy and big shout outs to Jose, Janet, Michelle, Mariola and Genaro for keeping us all entertained from morning to night! The first night we were there a bottle of champagne and fruit bowl appeared in our room after we came back from dinner and a few nights later a bottle of Tequila arrived. Someone came every evening and offered us items to stock the mini fridge and Andrea in housekeeping did an amazing job keeping the room sparkling!. Room service was quick! The coffee bar with treats was AWESOME! Loved the Casino night and Michael Jackson show as well! Can't wait to come back next year!

The beach was amazing. Food was great. Lots of options to eat. Great bar options at beach. Friendly staff except timeshare people were rude with bugging about listening to the hotel stuff. Cleaning people got in our bags 2 days in a row but nothing missing. Coffee machine in room broke and took several calls to get a new one. Shows were not the greatest. The micheal jackson show was horrible. The guy didnt even try to lip sing with songs. We left before show was over because it was just cheesy. Loved that we were able to check in early. Wish we could have had both our room together since we were traveling as a family. Overall, our stay was very good.
