Decidi no quedarme en ese hostal, preferi perder la plata que quedarme en ese sitio tan sucio y desagradable, por mi parte nunca lo recomendaria, me toco hospedarme en otro sitio mas barato. Reserve dos habitaciones y me mandaron a un cuarto donde tenia que compartir con gente que no conozco. Definitivamente un lugar asqueroso.

Horrible and isolated location

This hostel is literally located in the middle of nowhere, it's difficult to find, there was no cell phone service and it's just the creepiest vibe upon arrival. Did not feel safe as a solo traveler. Could not stay there. Had to look for another place to stay.

Superb place to stay in Cancun

Affordable, Great place, with a Kitchen, refrigerator and stove to Cook, a block from the beach and public transportation, great service and stuff Fresh sheets and wifi. Management willing always to help in anyway as possible! My favorite place now You won't be disappointed Close to Isla Blanca, the best beach in Cancun!

Awful doesn't bring to describe...

Ants, absoutely NO hot water and overall...no standards. The word "clean" or "new" doesn't exist in this place. No other guests...I was all alone.. The owner said people were coming...maybe so I will think it's successful but no one came and with reason... Disgusting. Btw, the owner kept saying the hot water would be taken care of..but that never happened..stayed there for 2 days too long.

Bugs, dirty and ripped sheets and towels, no hot water, no shower curtain and some showers don't even have windows just a hole to the staircase. On the map it looks like it is on the beach but this place has no access and there isn't any public beach nearby. The pool is tiny and it does not circulate, there is no cleaning system so noone ever used it.

Honest complaints

We had booked from Expedia by paying 430 USD before hand itself. However when we went there we were given a very small make shift room which can barely accommodate a single person let alone a family. There were literally no room for a suitcase to keep. So when we mentioned this we were asked 2400 Pesos more for a room which doesn't have a curtains but it was named as Private room. We told the owner politely couple of times but we were told bluntly that's how it works there. Finally the third time the owner's wife understood and gave couple of rug clothes for curtain. About the room cleanliness, the maid doesn't seem to enjoy her work, always complaining attitude. She wants the customers to help her in cleaning our room for which i am paying tips. The water is so scarce and there were too many times it got off in middle of bathing, etc. The management is more concerned only on the money not on customers comfort and their basic needs. We ordered four chicken quesadilla breakfast worth 60 Pesos from the owners as they seem to own a restaurant. However on breakfast we were given 3 previous night christmas eve celebration party's left over turkey quesadilla and 1 cheese quesadilla.

PuntaSam 2k17 fever <3

This was one of my best stay ever. The hosts are absolutely delightful. They help you out, are so generous and treat you like their family (they also have their kids there which makes the vibe even more family oriented) without overstepping on the fact that we are young and on vacation. It was such a cozy and comforting place to be at. Abir (the owner's wife) cooks like a queen. She is such a generous person who will make you feel so good and comfortable. Bassel was like family too. He helped us organize our trip to Chichen Itza, always gives you the best local tips such as taking a bus for 8 pesos instead of a Taxi. Such a wonderful couple with beautiful kids. They stayed with us and had a fun time with us. The best part is the people you meet there and how social you can get. The place is big, spacious, so clean (one of the cleanest hostel I have been to although my standards were not as high since the price is so good. Pleasantly surprised). Fully recommend this place for all of the above and more. My stay can't be written down. It was lived. We still are all in contact through this hostel. We have a Facebook group ! PuntaSam 2k17 forever !

Hostel acogedor en una zona tranquila

El hostel punta Sam queda retirado del aeropuerto internacional de CancĂșn pero tomando una combi en la esquina de la calle puedes ir hacia el centro y otros lugares. Muy cerca se puede tomar el ferry a isla mujeres. El personal es muy amable. FaltarĂ­a un televisor en las habitaciones privadas.

Terrible hostel do not have hot water for shower do not have AC even do not have any dish and bowl at kitchen only one pot for fry have fridge and microwave doesn't have breakfirst nothing around this hostel only resortthe beach is private this area do not have any resteraut and OXXO around if you want eat or go to beach you need take a van to downtown or go to isla mujeres 。 you can oder food from owner if you arrive at nightbest way is stay at downtown nothing here only ferry terminal to isla mujeres walk 5 mins。this price you can stay at downtown 。

Kiva hostelli rannan lÀheisyydessÀ

Hostelli on rauhallisella paikalla lÀhellÀ rantaa (parin minuutin kÀvely) mutta muuta ei lÀhistöllÀ oikein olekaan. Hostellissa oli (2016/51) perusparannus kÀynnissÀ joka aiheutti jonkin verran melua, samoin usean hengen huoneissa oli bileitÀ jotka kestivÀt aamuyöhön. Taksi Cancunin hotellialueelle kestÀÀ noin 20 min, Isla Blancalle n.15 minuuttia. Rannasta pÀÀsee lautalla helposti Isla Murejeksen saarelle (Puerto Juarezista myös nopeammalla lautalla). Wifi toimi aulassa ja puutaharhassa/uima-altaalla mutta ei huoneessa. HyvÀ hinta- laatusuhde.
