The Neighborhood:

The Plateau Mont-Royal, this popular area that became yuppie-bohemian is by far the most hip in Montreal. Small intimate theaters, thrift stores, used bikes, exclusive boutiques, cafes, restaurants and delis add to the cultural ferment and bohemian atmosphere that characterize the Plateau, where all lifestyles converge.



This is the best place to really get a feel of what Montreal is all about. It’s community is predominantly francophone and highly eclectic. Artists, students, young professionals and new families mingle with each other, creating an extraordinarily vibrant and colorful human mosaic. Those who do not live there come as often as possible to play and go out, and for good reasons...



Four major arteries are heart the neighborhood: The Saint-Laurent Boulevard - "The Main" - where many cultural communities have established their shops, the Rue Saint-Denis and its multitude of shops, cafes and terraces, Prince Arthur Street and its restaurants "Bring your own wine" and the Mount Royal Avenue with bars both connected and relaxed. From the Airport, you can take bus 747 all the way to metro station Berri-Uqam. From there use the metro up to station Mont-Royal (only 2 stations). You are at the apartment within a 5 minute of walk.

We loved the apartment and the location. Very central and close to the Metro. I should say though, don't be fooled by the photo, the building where you will stay doesn't look like these represented on the cover. Still the apartment had everything we needed. Travel light since there are no elevators to the first floor. St-Viateur bagels right across the street and the best coffee one can ask for at Flers just half a block away. I would/will stay there again for sure.

Great location and apartment. Very comfortable, well equipped. Convenient central location with the crowds of Old Town. There was a problem down the street and our power went out. The management group were great helping us navigate getting in and out of the apt with a physical key as the locks are all electronic.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our four day stay in this immaculate, extremely well-stocked, and beautifully decorated apartment. The owners were very responsive and helpful and the location could not be beat. We had quick access to a grocery store, cafes and restaurants, and the Metro. Would highly recommend!

Great please...awesome location...if you are driving a car parking can be a challenge. Our host was nice enough to show us where to park (about a block away) . Montreal has great public transit and Uber if needed.

The hosts couldn't have been nicer. The apartment was absolutely gorgeous, very clean and a beautiful location. It was close to everything especially with the metro being so close. You also never have to travel far to find something to do. I have nothing but good things to say about this rental.

This is the place to stay in Montreal!

Located on a bustling street with easy access to grocery and restaurants and close (15-20 min drive) to many attractions. The apartment was clean and exactly as listed! The host went above and beyond and many little details, like fans, coffee, dishwasher and washing machine soaps, made our stay that much better. We couldn’t be happier and highly recommend staying with both this host and this specific location!

Perfect Spot for Exploring Montreal

Our apartment was well furnished and the accommodations were perfect: a fair price, great location for exploring the heart of Montreal with the orange line being a few blocks away, and there are plenty of excellent restaurant options within walking distance. Great place!

Out family loved staying here - the apartment. was clean and had everything we needed. We could walk to many parts of the city without any trouble. Lots of great restaurants especially India rose, and boutiques and bakeries and bars and more. The owners were very helpful met us at the door, gave us all the information we needed for the house as well as dinner suggestions. They were very responsive. Thanks for a great homebase for our Montreal visit .

Great place to stay!

We really enjoyed our 4 nights in this clean, comfortable and well-furnished apartment in the Plateau, which is a great a base from which to experience Montreal! We were within walking distance of innumerable cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. The Mont-Royal Metro station was also only a short stroll away. I should also point out that although the apartment faces onto a fairly busy street, it is very quiet inside. Management was kind enough to accommodate our slightly early arrival, and I was glad to have access to a reserved parking spot a couple of blocks away. We would definitely stay here again!

Great weekend away

We celebrated our anniversary with a wonderful weekend in Montreal, and this apartment was such a terrific place from which to enjoy the city! The hosts have thought of everything you'd need for your time away - it's a well-appointed apartment, very clean and very well maintained, and so close to everything one needs. It's also surprisingly quiet for being located right in the heart of the Plateau. We requested the private parking and were glad we did. The hosts made everything so easy and welcoming. Exceptional!

The apartment was very clean, spacious and fully stocked. Location was close to the metro, a nice market and many great dining options within the neighborhood. We appreciated all the amenities and fully stocked items. We all slept well and had plenty of room. The hosts were incredible. They were very generous with their time, suggestions and replied promptly to communication. Access to the property and instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The apt. was a bigger unit than two people needed but it was necessary to be close to family that live in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal. Four adults would be very comfy but for 6 adults it could tight for surfaces to place your belongings. Lots of closet space and hangers. Washer&dryer were newer and clean. There were many types of retail stores and markets outside your door. We opted for the private parking although it cost extra. Winter street parking in Montreal can sometimes be tricky but there is plenty of street parking if you are patient. The aesthetic of the apartment was so nice and cozy. The bedroom and the bed in the open area and both were very comfortable. We didn't need the Murphy bed but we checked it out and it too is comfortable. There were plenty of towels and linen. We didn't cook there but the kitchen is stocked well. Loved the plentiful Kcups and a packaged sponge at the sink. The neighborhood was safe but we liked the secure building and apartment entries. It's quiet at night and we didn't spend much time there during the day. The hosts are VERY responsive and we communicated easily. As noted in the listing, there are 22 inside stairs from the entry of the building to the apartment door- I didn't have a problem but could be a challenge for some people or if you bring very heavy items. Highly recommend and we will definitely return in the future.

Lovely quiet apartment in a great location

This was our 4th time in Montreal and Yann and Caroline's apartment was definitely the best place we've stayed in. Right in the heart of the Plateau Mont-Royal neighborhood there are great shops, bookstores, restaurants, coffee houses and tea shops all within a few minutes walk. The apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable with lots of light in the main living and kitchen areas. The windows appeared to be double glazed which accounts for how quiet the apartment was. The bed was very comfortable. The shower was great with plenty of hot water. The ktichen was well stocked in terms of cooking utensils, knives, cutting boards, etc. There's a market and wine shop only a few blocks away so both of those were our first stops after arriving in the late afternoon. We would definitely stay there again.

Easy and well located

This was a perfect apartment for Montreal. The location couldn’t have been better, it was in the thick of things but was very quiet in the bedroom. Everything was needed was in the apartment. The main thing that we needed during this trip and it was a godsend, the air conditioning. It was very warm for our last five days in Montreal and the air conditioning was essential. Loads of restaurants and neighborhood walks in the area. Our first time in Montreal and we couldn’t of been happier. Metro is approximately four blocks away and we used it constantly. There are some main bus lines in front of the house. If you are a first timer in the city you couldn’t pick a better location.

Outstanding experience!

We had a top notch experience this past week! The hosts were phenomenal with their communication from the moment I booked the apartment and quite helpful and friendly, quickly answering any question I had. The apartment was just as I had expected, if not nicer. Very well-thought out touches, amenities and overall comfort and appearance. Location was terrific, with great bars, restaurants and coffee shops within steps, including the small grocery store next door. The metro was less than 10 minutes of a walk away, and an exceptionally efficient way to get anywhere downtown, in Old Montreal or in any other neighborhood outside of walking distance. A couple of lovely park areas were within a short walk. We would absolutely stay again and recommend this to anyone!! Thank you for a truly fantastic experience! :)

Beautiful decor and great location!

Everything you need within walking distance including groceries and restaurants in a cute area. Short drive to tourist attractions. Great for a couple or family- my kids loved the Murphy beds and big tv with Netflix. Lovely bathroom and design. Need to be able to walk up stairs to access. Parking about a block away in alley for small fee -was convenient and would recommend to book this. Minor issues with a new oven not working and air conditioner leaking- staff was responsive and apologized for inconvenience but not able to be fixed during our stay. Would have been nice to offer something for the trouble but overall we liked the apartment and hopefully the minor issues are fixed now. Would have given 5 stars otherwise!

Fantastic - space. Location.

Overall Fantastic!! First time visitors from NC. Spent 3 days/ nights with teenagers exploring MTL. Wanted a local experience with access to historic sights. Eclectic area, safe, friendly and lively. Easy metro ride from Old Montreal. Bagels right across the street. Happened to be in town to see parade on St Denis. Don’t miss eating at L’Avenue. Worth the wait ! Make sure you enjoy the murals when you take out the trash. Pros - space. 3 comfortable beds. Quiet even tho on busy street. Feels new and fresh - stylish decor and comfy couch . Close to metro , market , restaurants. Communication with property Mgr and willingness to provide flexibility. Merci. Cons - these are all minor. Just little touches - lack of storage in bathroom for multiple people. Lack of places to dry bath towels.

Good Location

The appearance and spaciousness of the unit was as described and the location is good, with coffee, bagel, clothing shops right there. I did have a few issues that prevent me from rating it 5-stars however: There's a sign of some-sort (I can't remember what the sign said) that has a constant light on the ceiling header between the laundry/kitchen area and secondary bedroom space. Not a bother during the day, but at night when all the lights are off it interfered with my sleep because of the constant brightness. The washing machine didn't spin well and left my clothes sopping wet even after a few tries (it was only a small-med size load and nothing bulky) I was surprised and a little put-off by number and type of required duties put on the guest at Check-Out (just one example being, Start a wash of towels). I feel these type of things should be taking care of within the cleaning fee that's charged.
