Our Banff Rocky Mountain Resort room was very comfortable and well appointed.

Pros: Close restaurants, Free Internet, Quiet
We enjoyed our two night stay at the Banff Rocky Mountain Resort. The room was very cozy, comfortable, and well appointed. Our room was a one bedroom with a fireplace and a full kitchen. We were about a 5 minute car ride to Banff and about 15 minutes from Sunshine Ski Hill. The only complaint I have was that I ordered some firewood that did not show up. I would definitely recommend this property.

Excellent value for the money

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: Nothing close
The hotel is outside of town making a walk to local downtown resturants and shopping difficult. The onsite resturants were reasonably priced with good food for the amount spent. You have a choice of more upscale dining or the pub style sports grill.

Excellent room, outstanding value.

Pros: Free Internet
Cons: feng shui could be better.
Out of downtown Banff, so quieter and easier to sleep. Room was recently updated and was more like 3.5 stars. Super value. Hi-speed internet in their breakfast/bar area was free. I have been to Banff & Lake Louise 4 times. Just reserve it.

Very Small

Pros: Free Internet, Quiet
Cons: smelly room
- many places to stay in Banff seem to be small. - bed was def not a queen. - room had a strange salmon type smell that wouldnt go away and the front desk guy wasn't interested in coming to room to check it out. - no dressers in the bedroom, only a closet to place your clothes, (no shelves) not great if you're staying for a week. - location is good just outside of Banff, so it's probably more quiet then downtown.

Great location, comfortable and modern

Pros: Loved the location and how quiet it is as well as the close proximity to a lot of great hikes.
A very conveniently located condo property at the edge of Banff. It is nice and quiet, the staff was very friendly. The on-property restaurant had very good food and prompt service at good prices. Our condo was very nicely decorated, maybe a wee bit on the small side, but still comfortable for just the two of us. Kitchen had all the basic essentials, which was really nice. Recently remodeled interior was very nice. One minor drawback, not a big deal, but no AC. So being there in the summer, while not hot at all outside, the condo is so well insulated, it felt warm inside at the end of the day. After the first day and the discovery of no AC, just left the window open pretty much all the time after that and regulated the temp pretty well that way. The other minor-ish drawback, the TVs in our condo were terrible. The living room and bedroom sets were both flaky and very frustrating. They would work one minute and not the next. We were able to watch some TV though.

This is a time share/hotel.

Pros: The soap was nice.
Cons: Place needs a complete overhall.
Location: Lots to see, but this place is outside of town....so have a car.
This plac is in need of upkeep. The pool water left a smell on us that I can only compair with stinky feet. The room was small, and the bed was so lumpy it looked like there was someone already in it. Wild animals right out the window was nice as was the lavender handmade soaps.
